  1. A 1500VA ups will not run his PC for hours unfortunately. at a 200w load, a 1500va will last for 36minutes. that's not counting whatever else is plugged into it like monitors, modem/router, or whatever it may be.
  2. Yeah you can get a quality UPS for $200
  3. make a spoiler and include s/s of all your settings on OBS so you can get a bit more help. I know I recorded game footage in the past with OBS, and it was minimal on my CPU and you have a decent CPU. Sounds like you just have your settings messed up.
  4. I am at work so can't search amazon. But if anything get a small fully modular PSU and just run the sata cables. Since those are usually like 4 satas daisy chained on each cable, you can buy like 1ft extensions or whatever you need for a smaller cable.
  5. I mean that's one cable, that's pretty tiny. The box can be tucked away in a drawer, behind your desk, etc. I don't know if there is a like psu for purely multiple sata connectors, but I am confident if you look up G-Unique PSU, go on the discord and ask Gury, he can likely make you one.
  6. Apparently from the original posts, he is decorating his desk with reservoirs.
  7. Like I said a Pico PSU is likely an option. Otherwise a simple google search for sata power adapter gave me this. http://www.addonics.com/products/aadcpac12v.php Another option if you are decorating your desk with multiple resevoirs would just buy a modular PSU and tuck it away somewhere with sata power connectors.
  8. I'm a bit confused. Why did you buy a pump res combo for decoration exactly? But on topic, you could get a small pico psu with sata power connector.
  9. Fans on the radiator would provide enough case airflow alone even with the radiator obstruction. However if it's a concern you can always do push/pull to ensure you have plenty of airflow. Typically (like mentioned) the radiator fans are enough but people tend to fill out their case fan slots if they was like the glow from RGB fans and such. More to "fill the case out" more so than the functionality.
  10. What browser do you use? I was using Opera and had this issue as well as far as opening multiple youtube videos up at once. I changed some settings within the browser and it helped some.
  11. I'd say $200 for that PC, with you cleaning and getting fresh install of windows is a solid deal. I'd pick it up for parts for $200 even lol.
  12. Vorsicht! Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn es aktiv ist!
  13. I also asked a german buddy, and he said the google translator result is actually accurate. They don't really use a slang form such as like in Spanish where google translator butchers English -> Spanish.
  14. Literally makes an account to make a spam post lol?
  15. I will say, I purchased some small 0.25x0.25" heatsinks with thermal pads attached to them. Applied them with tweezers and held them for about 5-10 seconds each. I can still tap them and they will slide around a little and this concerned me at first. However after having them for a little while, I am assuming the heat helped make the adhesive a bit more tacky and bind better. They still move with a gentle push, but I throw my whole PC in a backpack like 3 times a week and travel anywhere from 60-80miles 1 way. I'm definitely not overly gentle and none have fallen off yet. I have since then just forgotten about them and they seem to hold up fine.
  16. Teamviewer is great, if you want a paid option, I personally prefer Splashtop.
  17. I am getting basically this company, used fake names claiming them to be investigators of sorts in order to get subpoenas that shouldn't have been approved due to lack of evidence/means. This means the clients Lynch is defending against copyright claims, could technically all be dropped if this is found true as they had no grounds to start the case anyways. If the cases are then dropped due to these fictitious "employees", the cases will likely be thrown out completely and unable to be brought back up against his clients in the future. I sped-read through this so could be completely wrong. Someone correct me if I am, but that is how I took it.
  18. Nice clean looking build. Really like the blue behind the dark smoked window.
  19. What mouse do you have @zindan, and does it have software to configure your mouse buttons? If so use that. If not then I would suggest AutoHotKey to rebind the buttons. Here is a snippit of code that should work assuming your mouse has the page forward/back as mouse button 4/5. You would save this in notepad as whatever.ahk xbutton1::x (put whatever key you want instead of "x") Return xbutton2::x (put whatever key you want instead of "x") Return
  20. Without a budget, it's hard for us to really recommend anything. I'd say a good I7-I9, 16-32gb ram, a primary ssd for boot drive and such, and a Quadro GPU should be perfectly fine
  21. Well easy solution, put it on a table in the garage for the 24hr cure time with a little fan. Smell will be gone in 48hrs lol. The smell actually dissipates shortly after the curing process is over. especially if ventilated. I just use it so often for fixing stuff/jerry-rigging. And the smell would definitely not be "everywhere" it doesn't tend to spread much as far as area effected by the smell. it usually only smells right around where you mixed and used it.
  22. Obvious answer is to put ice cubes on the CPU
  23. JBWeld should easily hold this. get the like 3000lb breaking strength jbweld epoxy and it won't go anywhere. Edit: I literally use JBWeld for anything I can LOL. Use it around the house on everything and the woman gets mad smelling the epoxy everywhere
  24. oh good god LOL. I'd run it without a cooler using a piece of paper to hand fan the cpu before using tooth paste
