PC lights up but monitor doesn't show anything, did I murder it?
TheKalmTraveler replied to sn4cks's topic in Troubleshooting
Plug in the Monitor to the Motherboards Graphic connection and see if you get windows to show up. Also, yes replace the Motherboard battery with a new one.- 9 replies

Frames dropping in games they shouldnt
TheKalmTraveler replied to crazytuna's topic in Troubleshooting
Is it only this Game or are there others too because Rainbow Six Siege isn´t the most well-optimized game out there. Also, check your Temps and Disk, RAM, CPU usage. -
Well, this could be anything. Have you already tried any form of Troubleshooting? Since you are running out of power my n1 guess would be a broken Power Supply so if you could replace that with another one this would be helpful. If that´s not an option I suggest to open the case and have a look at all the connectors to make sure they are all where they should be (Hopefully plugged in). Also, Unmount your GPU and try powering up your Computer with the onboard Video Card from the Motherboard. After that report back so we can narrow it down further.

Unknown data being written to disk in large quantities
TheKalmTraveler replied to Freewill234's topic in Troubleshooting
Well if the error is software related a fresh install may solve your problem but when you redownload your stuff to reach the old state the error may reappear. This is why I think a workaround will save you some time in the long run because reinstalling all your stuff over and over again won´t be much shorter. In the end, it´s up to you and if you really want a quick solution, do a fresh install but when the error comes back try narrowing it down. -
Update your Graphics Card Driver from the manufacturer website. Seems like your GPU is the problem here. If the problem still exists with the updated Driver please do a GPU stress-test.

Try Shutting it down with: Click the Start menu Click Run or in the search bar type services.msc Press Enter Look for the service and check the Properties and identify its service name Once found, open a command prompt as Administrator. Type sc queryex [servicename]. Press Enter Identify the PID In the same command prompt type taskkill /pid [pid number] /f Press Enter After successful kill continue with Potential Bug Fix and report back for further help. -
How to fix a VERY sensitive key (laptop)
TheKalmTraveler replied to limegorilla's topic in Troubleshooting
Open the Laptop and search if something got stuck in the key. You could also use an Air Spray to Blow the Key free but if one key got stuck I would rather make a full clean up and reassemble. -
First of all your Picture is absolutely not helpful at all. If you have a problem with your Motherboard or GPU or your Case I strongly suggest to take a Picture of your problem and not of your desk. So, as I read the post I guess the error is that your Graphic Card does not fit in your case and now there is no GPU connected at all? If this is the Case I suggest buying a bigger Case which fit´s your Graphic Card.

Have you tried to Plug it off and on again? Is it connected Via Screen or SSH? Do you get any form of Post?
