For that price you should look for a second hand option. Check Craigslist or maybe other local alternatives (second hand stuff facebook groups for example) and look for desks.
I got myself an IKEA ~1.8 meter wide desk for 20 euros just by looking online for a couple minutes.

What's your budget for the cooler? Basically you could just get an aircooler with a nice big heatsink and pull down the fan to like 200 RPM (pretty much unhearable). Alternatively, I believe it's possible to go into BIOS and disable the CPU fan detection, meaning you can remove the CPU fan completely and still be able to boot.

This was me. I had every intention of overlcocking so I bought a 4790k as my first real processor, and it has sat at standard 4.0 since I got i.

I'm nearly 100% certian that any H81 board will boot a USB drive. Though I admit Asus H81M-CS seems to be an India specific model, I think you're just using it wrong.  If you insert a bootable USB key and then go to the BIOS, it should detect it as a boot option in the Asus UEFI.

different development & distribution model. I wouldn't have been able to provide this news if i wasn't subscribed to various linux user groups and alumni at a good university. I find Microsoft updates take a lot more time to investigate and Apple news is buried within a pile of fanboy & marketing BS.

to be honest the whole idea of "being immune to virusses" on pretty much any platform needs to disappear.

it's simply a matter of a very low adoption rate on linux (and to a lesser extent mac, compared to windows offcourse) that makes it less interesting, and thus makes people less inclined to go look for issues.

Just some clarification.  MANY retailers require ID, or at least some personal information for returns.  Especially CASH returns.  The reason is simple.... Employee theft and Fraud.

To address the original post however, there are as many inflated prices at Best Buy, as there are steals.  It varies by product.  If you want and HDMI cable... or the latest LG monitor, you probably will find that prices are higher at Best Buy than most places.

But if you are looking at older product, open box, or any thing that's very large.... you can find EXCELLENT deals at Best Buy.  The reason being is that shelf space costs money.  The longer something is on the sales floor without selling, the more money the retailer loses.

The idea is that it all evens out for them.  The average Joe buys a 2015 model TV at a great discount, but then the sales person convinces them to buy an overpriced hdmi cable.  And because they skipped lunch, they grab an overpriced candy bar.  That's even before we start talking about the protection plan and credit card.

So I'd recommend getting a 49 key then.  I have a 61 key and while I enjoy it, it's sometimes just a little to large for anything other than when I practice piano playing.

If you get a new controller on Amazon from one of the better known brands, you usually will get a demo(s) for a DAW, such as Abelton lite.

Personally, I try to buy used, like from Guitar Center.  There are tons of people who buy new, don't like it/understand how to use it, and then sell it back.  So there's great gear that's barely been touched.

It's not typical, but in the example I used above, you're saving 45% on the price by buying used.

The pi was fine for accessing text files and low birate video.  But I'm not confident recommending it for high quality video.
