Iam wondering i have a few raspberry pi laying around is it worth making a cluster for running boinc projects? or is it better to get a cheap motherboard and cpu?

i found a fix i deleted every directX9 file in syswow64 and ran the directx file from counterstrike and now borderlands works

oke thanks for your help. might try that clean windows when i have time for it but i had to do a clean install of windows last month because pc was getting alot of blue screens en random crashes

tried all the windows versions there are and even activated the other boxes for full screen, colors and admin at launch but still get the same error the game worked before on this setup so I find it realy strange that this happens now

it did not fix the problem but it replaced all the dll files

windows is up to date i ran DXdiag current version is: directx 12 system manufacturer and system model said to be filled by O.E.M besides that everything is correct. all the other tabs said "no problems found" now going to run the installer you pointed out hope that can fix it

installed everything again from that folder the directx and an other one linked to that i think

already reinstalled it 2 times and even did that verify game cache thing but there a no files missing it said

I wanted to play borderlands. When I try to launch it using steam it opens and in a few seconds it force closed. When I tried to launch it from the "local files" it said that: system32\d3dx9_41.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error.

i played it before i have around 100 hours in it on this system but didn't play it for a long time. i tried that and even installed it on differed drives and i repaired the program that normally installed when you start the game

my game wont open in says "running" in steam and after that "sync cloud" any idea how to fix this ? running windows 10hardware:i5-3570kmsi 1070

Iam kinda new to this i bought this thing to try things and get more intrested in programming but iam a noob i think this will work but i dont know how to stop the program i tried some commands in terminal but i think they didnt work

Hallo, today I was installing my dns ad-blocker and after I installed openvpn and pi-hole i had to chance server.conf the dns from 8.8.8.8 to an other one but I can't save the into the folder it needs to be and if i want to delete the one that is already in that folder i get dinied Does anyone know how to fix this ?
