  1. I've got two p2214H's which is I guess just a smaller version of this panel and it's not very good. Background blacks on one of them are terribly yellow-ish, with 2 spots really bright (and it bugs the hell out of me) and the other monitor has a dead pixel since the first week I had it. And the third one(actually the first one I had but I sent it back) had three dead pixels after a three weeks. Did I get just really unlucky? But the response time as you say is good, I also don't have any noticeable lag with it.
  2. Allright, did that, thanks. Also, thank god there exists such a thing as google translate, my german is awful
  3. I guess I will go for this one then and cut a part of my case out. Thanks for the site. I hope they ship to Belgium
  4. Because one display only has VGA and the others only have displayport and VGA, and VGA sucks, especially with active adapters. The colours look absolutely dreadful and text is blurry.
  5. The problem is that I need 2 displayports, and the only ones that actually have that are Gigabyte's version of the card and Zotac's version (as far as I'm aware), but I cannot find the Zotac's version with a game voucher.
  6. I think so. No, it's only the hdd cage that would be in the way. This is a picture from zalman:
  7. The Gigabyte one will probably not fit as NZXT says on their website ( http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/143-h440-performance-mid-tower.html ) that the "GPU Clearance With HDD Cage" is only 294mm, while the gigabyte card is 310 mm long. So unless you have removed the HDD cage it will most likely not fit.
  8. Hello guys I am quite unsure on which type of 970 I should get. At first I wanted to get the gigabyte g1 gaming one, but this one doesn't fit in my case apparently. I've got a Zalman z9 plus which only allows for gpus with a length of 290 mm, while the gigabyte one is 310 mm long. But then there's this guy that says he got it fitting by cutting a part out of his case http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2327098/gigabyte-gtx-970-fit-zalman.html... So i'm not sure if I should do that or pick another card. I would need atleast 2 displayports and one DVI-I to drive my monitors, and I'd like to be able to get a "pick your path" code so amazon isn't an option. Currently looking at this because I'm sure they ship gpu's with a code http://www.alternate.be/GIGABYTE/GV-N970G1-GAMING-4GD-grafische-kaart/html/product/1159215 Note that I live in Belgium, so shipping from the netherlands/germany/uk/france isn't that expensive. What do you guys think? Should I cut out a part of my case or choose another model?
  9. Nevermind, fixed it myself. I've just inserted a windows 8.1 usb stick I had lying around, ran startup repair and it was fixed.
  10. I did do a clean install on the ssd when I installed it, but it seems it kept the bootloader (or whatever it is called, the thing that checks for bootable partitions) on the hard disk which I removed.
  11. Hello guys I've just remove the hard disk from my laptop as I wasn't using it a lot since I've put an ssd in it, and then this popped up: "No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key. I am pretty sure I installed the OS on the ssd, any ideas why it is doing this? The SSD itself is fine, it is recognized in the bios. Any solutions other than reinstalling the whole OS? Thanks.
  12. Nice to see that they threw away the "thinner is better" concept. Having a thicker phone with a gigantic battery instead of a thin one that I have to charge every 12 hours is so much better.
  13. If you tell origin that you live in the US and use a fake amazon address located in the US you will be fine. That's how I got it
  14. They don't, it would cost me 14€ to ship to Belgium so it isn't really a good deal for anyone outside of the UK.
  15. I mostly watch them at 1080p, unless I flip my monitors and configure them to nv surround, to watch linus's face at semi-4K resolution spanned over three screens. ...But that's a bit over the top isn't it
  16. My favorite would be the CPU cooler, because I am still using the noisy stock cooler of my intel cpu for some reason.
  17. Thanks for that, had to change my origin regional settings too and now I bought it. I was assuming the same thing as Misonthrope so I didn't bother to try
  18. I second this, would have bought it otherwise.
  19. Increasing the page file should work, however I had this issue too with 4 GB of pagefile and 10/16 GB of ram in use. Problem was chrome having a memory leak with resizing the window which did not show up in the task manager, but it shows up in this cpu gadget I have. Closing chrome freed 10 gigabytes... So if you close chrome before playing a game you should be fine.
  20. First thing I thought of was this: https://plex.tv/ . The good thing is it plays to nearly any device, it gathers metadata/subtitles by itself and is probably easier to use than how you are currently trying to do it . You also have the ability to chose what to play from any device, like you can use your phone to control it so you don't have to walk to your pc each time you want to pause/change what is being played. It is awesome in my opinion, but you have to have a so called "smart" tv or bluray to be able to play things to your tv (which I guess you have).
  21. So I recently got a third monitor and wanted to use all of them(of course), with sli enabled. The only way to do this is with using nvidia surround apparently(If I choose "activate all monitors, sli will be disabled). But this resulted in some funky behaviour of the taskbar, it isn't placed at the bottom of the screen but just a bit above that: http://puu.sh/ctSXe/145f653b97.jpg . Sometimes it is placed correctly, but after some time it jumps to there for some reason. Anyone had the same problem and knows a fix? I couldn't find anything useful so far...
  22. 72€ (90 usd) for 160 down/10up, tv and phone. Not cheap, but not too expensive and good service. Always getting more than 150 Mb/s at any time with no downtimes, so I'm not complaining.
  23. With this you can also use bluetooth instead of an internet connection so you can still use it even if you don't have internet nearby. But tbh I haven't used it much, only on holiday where there was no internet, to control my laptop which was connected to a tv.
  24. This confuses me btw, your second link doesn't work for me.
