  1. smart switch is pretty good, pc less back up and transfers!
  2. Thanks @techguru , A clean install has resolved the issue. Now to reinstall all my things , I have the back ups, but so many things need repairing its not funny
  3. If it was disabled in BIOS device manager wouldn't be able to detect it though.
  4. @Jlryan Installing those drivers fails and it says "No Intel Adapters are present in this computer" I'll do the "clean" install (that preserves all your data) first like you suggested @techguru and if that doesn't work, I'll just go back to Windows 8.1 again. I'm relectant to do a clean "clean" install at the moment because my Australian internet won't let me download a lot Thanks for your support, I'll post another reply after its done and update if it fixed or if I went back to windows 8.1
  5. Yeah not activated. Should I try to do a refresh but keep files? Or will that then not activate it as a upgrade but a new install?
  6. That's the thing. I don't know if it is activated yet because windows 10 has never been connected to the internet. Windows 8.1 was though. I have a system image of 8.1 so if it isn't I can always revert back to that again
  7. So after upgrading my PC to Windows 10 I have been having all kinds of networking issues. At first I had a limited connection so I thought to uninstall and reinstall the Intel LAN drivers but they wouldn't install since they were already installed. So I uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled and still no connection. Next I noticed that it wasn't even detecting the adapter in network adapters page in the control panel. I tried plugging in my wifi card with dodgy drivers and same issue. I then tried tethering my phone over USB and no success again. Ref the screenshot; They are all detected in device manager yet still nothing??? All the drivers are up-to-date. 8. How about a quick overview on Logic Gates, or analog vs digital computing. Maybe even what a bit is or different number systems like Binary, Octal, Hexadecimal, or Binary encoded deciaml
  9. What is NvME and the connections used by new SSDs like SAS and U.2?
  10. Full 104s are great, but when you get a 60% like the ducky shine mini its a hard divide. The mini is just so portable, I can take it everywhere and that honestly why I feel its so much better. 104s are only good for fixed desktops but if you're a student and need to type in multiple places never go past a good 60%
  11. Favourite thing is definately the customisability of the launcher and ui without root
  12. Enter Australia, where caps <100gb are expensive if you want decent speeds that aren't dial up equivalent (my up on cable is 56KBps)
  13. Mean while in Australia no eta for 4.4...
  14. Ha the Australian government believe current copper (which can barely stream 1080p) is enough for 10 years with 4k coming around
