i have a 780ti and play lol on it quiet a bit and you definitely will have no regrets in buying it. i also do some heavy fps gaming and it preforms great on that aswell.
 
see that everyone i answered his question how simple was that. if your just gonna call him stupid for getting a 780ti then dont even bother commenting.

In Australia, the XSPC Raystorm CPU block is much cheaper than the others and is heavily used here on the forums. It has a great review from Martin's liquid lab. Really water blocks are about aesthetics, they all perform close to each other. Other good brands are EK, Swiftech, Watercool and Koolance. Pick whichever looks best and try to aim for similar metals

Most blocks perform the same (within 5C of each other), you should pick a water-block based on looks and there is a big variety of blocks out there.
 
What do you consider a "clean" look? A shiny nickel plated block of a black POM water block?

they all perform roughly about the same.the price is determined buy the materials. so go whichever has a balance of looks, quality, cost

Yeah..but even if it does come out the soonest in Q3, that will a 14+ months gap between a GPU generation....the longest in NVIDIA GPU history. I don't think they could wait that long, considering AMD has responded to its GTX 700 series already. If AMD keeps a consistent release, they will have already realeased another gen of GPU by that time...that would mean AMD would have beaten to the GPU market with generation with no competition....that is very unearthly unlikely.
 
This makes me wonder, what's going on with AMD tho? What are they planning for the next release? Or is the 20nm a mutual requirement for both of them for next gen?

i5's from 2nd gen and up are complete monsters, you will not need an upgrade for a long while yet.

3570k is a very capable CPU and can handle a 780Ti.

wow, the forum gets friendlier every day....

I run a i5 3570k CPU & it's more than fine for today's gaming needs ,i run mine @ 4.7 ghz x47 on the multiplier .
if mine can run GTA IV Pc on all max settings with decent GPU's than im sure it will run anything you put towards it.
 
Its a nice CPU ,But make sure to have a decent After Market CPU Cooler if you plan on Over Clocking the chip as it will
get very hot fast . Some times these chips can reach out standing Over Clocking abilities ,all tho @ a slight Over Clock say
4.4ghz or no Over Clock this chip will still perform very well. 
 
If Budget is an issue & is the reason you are choosing this chip - it's the same reason i got it as well. & im more than happy with it .
LGA 1155 still soldiers on . i would say to get it but it is you're chose in the matter 10/10 def get it mate . :)

If you have all that money to spend please buy a professional set of headphones and not something that teenagers buy to wear around their neck so they can look cool. Maybe get a nice external dac too. Besides that everything looks pretty good, Please make a buildlog of this if this is actually going to be built, i think everyone would like to see something so overkill and awesome.
