  1. Probably won't make a huge difference. I am sure Epic's offer ensures they stay well in the black no matter what.
  2. I got a brand new Samsung Gear s2 classic on eBay last year for $100. Sure its not the latest and greatest but I love it! The rotating bezel makes navigation of the watch easy and satisfying, also it looks like a more like a traditional watch. I am just not a fan of how the Apple watch looks. Its a little bland. I can see why everyone likes it though.
  3. I would love to make the jump to Linux as a daily driver. The growing support for games and other programs makes it seem more like a reality for me soon. I think it just scares a lot of people. People crave familiarity and when you present someone with change they close their mind and refuse to learn.
  4. I just moved from iPhone to Android last month. I went from a 5s to an S9. I had been wanting to make the jump for a couple years. Apple just hasn't excited me with anything they have been putting out and i especially don't agree with their anti consumer practices. I didn't enjoy owning a device that required me to live within an controlled ecosystem. I am a customer not livestock! Freedom to use the device how I see fit is such a huge advantage. Owning an Android phone is like a breath of fresh air. I can customize it to my liking and load whatever apps i want. The things i can do with this phone out of the box would require me to jailbreak my iPhone, but even then i still wouldn't be able to do everything my S9 does. Apple would have to change their entire game for me to switch back.
  5. I have never experienced that with a headset. My experience is just from playing guitar in a band. RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) can be caused by a number of things. Poorly shielded cable, Unbalanced connection, or a ground problem. Maybe try some aluminum foil wrapped around the cable or near the mic? Somebody else here might have more experience with this.
  6. This is what i was about to say. Enable the XMP profile in the BIOS so your RAM will run at its advertised speed.
  7. This might either be malware, a startup program or a corrupt file. You could try a clean boot to rule out startup programs http://support.logitech.com/en_us/article/228 I also suggest running system file checker to repair system files. Open command prompt and type sfc /scannow then press enter. Sorry i cant be of more help.
  8. Does this problem persist if you boot windows into safe mode? if not then i suggest checking for malware if you haven't already. Also it might be a good idea to run disk cleanup and clear out any temp files and other junk then restarting explorer.exe to see if that helps.
  9. Did you try booting from the USB with the internal drive unplugged? just to rule the drive out as a factor.
  10. I highly doubt Apple will get rid of lightning. The next step for them would be completely wireless.
  11. Have you tried running steam in compatibility mode? or disabling windows firewall?
  12. Loss of video implies its the GPU. Typically an unstable CPU overclock will cause a BSOD or the system to hang up. You could try reseating the graphics card if you haven't already. Are your graphics card drivers up to date? Do you notice any artifacts while gaming? Also is your PC plugged into the wall or a surge protector?
  13. Sorry your friend is having issues. Does this still occur if you run the games in windowed mode or borderless window? Correct me if i am wrong, but i don't think Windows likes it when you alt-tab out of games.
  14. Hello, Could you be a bit more specific about whats happening? When you power it on is it just a black screen? Are you getting any POST codes? have you tried running your video out of the motherboard instead of the graphics card to see if that changes anything? Edit: Sorry i just saw you tried the motherboard.
  15. You made sure your headphones are the selected output device in windows?
