  1. If you need the wireless option you can only really use this Adapter. The controller dose not use something like Bluetooth. I found one cheaper on eBay for $20 Canadian but who knows how long shipping would be. If you don't want to pay that using a long USB cable or a PS3 controller would work.
  2. Are you meaning a digital led strip?
  3. Cool, I know copyright has always been a little tricky depending on where you live. Thanks for your info!
  4. Fair enough. I think it all comes down to who you are taking from. Something like CTV or BBC are major corporations that benefit from the use. But some creators like gamers might not get anything from it. But didn't Taran use something like this for his Barrier Skip video?
  5. But what if they are using it for a communication technology project. I have used videos off youtube for stock footage and as references in my own class projects. I don't sell a large problem with this, if the students reference the creator and are not making money off of that video. Again I am no expert and I am sure this get way to complicated for me to understand. But this is school, not television or films.
  6. I am no expert on things like this, but I am 98% sure if it is for education then it is allowed. Anyways if you are not making money or getting fame from it then why would it matter.
  7. This is what I have been following to learn Java.... I find programming is always feeling pointless at first. The "Hello World" project is a perfect example. Just because I project seems pointless dose not mean you are not learning. In the end of the day you will be combining everything to make something great. I will say, learn all the basics. I love seeing people jump right into it, but I have also saw a a lot of people just give up because they do not take the time to learn the small boring stuff. Don't rush it, you will get there soon and will be creating. I would always recommend finding someone to learn it with you, helps to have someone to bounce ideas off of. And just having that coding buddy makes lines of code more fun! Good luck and hope to hear you figured something out.
  8. This looks really cool. I am not good with working with audio components, are you going to make a post of how it turned out?
  9. Thanks for your info, but I am on Windows and am using a real Arduino Uno. Still can't get it to work on my computer. I am thinking it is a issue with the computer talking with the board so I am trying to use my laptop to upload it. Even if that dose not work it is a bummer that I can't use my main computer anymore. Thanks again for you info though.
  10. This is cool glad to see float plane growing. Wish it would be all on the same subscription thou.
  11. Hello, I have been working on a arduino project for the past month or so... I have not change the circuit for as a couple of weeks and have been just working on the programming. One day the arduino stop accepting uploads from the IDE. The error is: Sketch uses 10328 bytes (32%) of program storage space. Maximum is 32256 bytes. Global variables use 538 bytes (26%) of dynamic memory, leaving 1510 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2048 bytes. I tried multiply cables and tried all the ports on my computer, nothing seems to work. My code uses four libraries and was working until this random day, I did not change anything massive from when it worked last. All I added was an if statement so I would not think that to break anything. I have no idea what is going on, nothing on other forums have worked so far. Please help... I been trying to solve this issue for the past week.
  12. I totally see that. I can't tell a difference in audio quality around $150ish. But I can see audio cables needing to be more reliable. I have had a few buggy aux cords.
  13. I personal never would spend much on premium cables, but I do see its place. I know from my tech work in theater that some places would not take any risk with a wire. Think about it, if you are running a large scale show that costs thousands of dollars a night, having these high quality wires permanently in the theater is not a half bad idea. I do think that this is not marketed to the individual. I am not an expert myself so I could only guess why.
  14. I feel that Intel is going to stay as the mainstream CPU maker. I feel system builders will stay with them because most people know the name and are use to using it. The support and reliability of Intel is just too good for company offering warranty's to give up. However I feel AMD is making a large come back in the enthusiast space. People willing to do there research and want to work on there computer will totally see AMD as an option. Overall the tech world travels to fast for me to make a long term prediction. I want to see the competition stay close that way we get better stuff all the time. But who knows, maybe in 10 years we could all be using 25 core machines. The only thing I think is that system builders like Dell, HP, and other large scale providers will stay Intel.
