  1. That's sounds actually sound. Thanks, I might just go this route and see how it goes But still up for other suggestions, of course!
  2. Hi! My H500P Mesh just arrived and as I am transplanting all the components into the new case, I was wondering where and if at all I should put some of my old fans I have. These would be 2 be quiet! Pure Wings 2 120mm. Spare place is only at the top, but I was wondering if I should put them as intake or outtake, or at all. Dust is quite a problem here, so I think creating negative air pressure could be bad. Would be cool to get suggestions soon, as I will continue building in a bit cheers
  3. The max CPU Cooler Clearance is 165mm. I doubt my NH-D15 will fit in this. Thanks for the suggestion anyways.
  4. Hi. Currently have the Corsair Carbide 400C. I damaged the PSU shroud, cable management isn't so great and my CPU Cooler (NH-D15) just bearly fits (I'm unsure if it hits the side window or not). Because I will be upgrading my R5 1600 to a 3600 soon, I figured, might as well change the case while the MoBo is out of the case anyways (I would never get the NH-D15 back on while inside the case). Now I've watched many GamersNexus Case Reviews, and I thought I was set on the CoolerMaster MasterCase H500P Mesh, because of the great airflow and the 190mm CPU Cooler Clearance (current is 170mm,which barely fits if at all) The thing is, I'm pretty certain my R5 3600 won't reach high temperatures, because Zen2 doesn't overclock well & my CPU cooler is a beast. And given that I have a PNY GeForce RTX 2080 XLR8 Gaming OC (1440P 155Hz Gaming), I figured it would be better to have better airflow with the GPU (which will probably reach much higher temperatures). Looking at the following chart, I thought about the CoolerMaster SL600M (which also has plenty CPU Cooler clearance): But looking back at the CPU temps, I'm really uncertain if this will be good: ..What do you think? Is the trade-off too big to justify the SL600M? Obviously the H500P Mesh is good in CPU and okay-ish in GPU performance, but won't the noise be way more noticable? I recently took a liking in "as silent as necessary" environments. Any other ideas? The charts are from the end of 2018, are there even better alternatives now? Anything I am missing? Thanks alot!
  5. With my current setup, I get a (granted, calculated) load wattage of 567W, if I opt to stay on my Ryzen 5 1600(90% TDP) and go with a 1080Ti stock. Now if I wanted to go with Zen2 (which I think will draw more power, given the frequency they are[according to, granted again, rumors] supposed to run at) AND overclock my 1080Ti, I'd think it will go as high as 600W load wattage. Is the calculator that off, or what am I missing that you recommend me a 550W PSU?
  6. Hey, I already posted in the PSU Tier List thread, but figured I'd make my own post (since it got only one short-ish reply). My Specs: - Ryzen 5 1600 (4.05GHz @1.35V) - 2x8GB DDR4 3000MHz - GTX 1060 6GB OCd (don't know exact values right now) - 1x 500GB Sata SSD, 1x 500GB M.2 Sata SSD, 1x 4TB 5400RPM HDD - 4x 120mm Case Fan - Noctua NH-D15 (-> 2x 140mm Fan) - PCIe USB Extension Card, lots of USB Devices connected at once (Mouse, Keyboard, AMP-DAC, Graphics-Tablet, Oculus Rift + 3 Sensors, often PS4 Controller,..) I'm pretty much already sold on a 650W PSU(want to upgrade on ZEN2 and upgrade GPU to ~1080Ti or something). Maybe more Wattage(if it doesn't affect price and comes with a better unit, stuff like this). Should be from this site (Alternate.de) since they currently have a -25€ promotion on anything 70€ and above. Wanted to buy the be quiet! STRAIGHT POWER11 CM 650W, but got told to get the 550W instead. Now I'm torn between (still) this one, the Corsair RM650X (2018) 650W and possibly something higher end, like the be quiet! Dark Power Pro P11 650W. Is it even worth it for me to go with something 60€ more expensive? I don't care much about fan noise etc., I just want something reliable for the next ~5+ years to come. Budget isn't that much of an issue, but shouldn't be much higher than 130€ after the rebate of 25€. Thanks for answers ?
  7. I said "in terms of Wattage" - I thought 500W was close to be maxed out.. Will the 550W Unit then be future proof enough for me? If I upgrade to a 1080Ti and an overclocked Zen3 CPU? Or rather, will it be close at all or is everything fine when I go with the 550W unit?
  8. Hi, I'm still on my quite old 500 Watt be quiet! Straight Power E9 Non-Modular 80+ Gold. Given that it's non-modular, old (out of warranty) and that I am experiencing some weird issues as of late (randomly needs some more "clicks" on the Start Button to power on, randomly turns itself on again right after turning it off,..) I'd like to buy a new power supply. Current Setup: - Ryzen 5 1600 (4.05GHz @1.35V) - 2x8GB DDR4 3000MHz - GTX 1060 6GB OCd (don't know exact values right now) - 1x 500GB Sata SSD, 1x 500GB M.2 Sata SSD, 1x 4TB 5400RPM HDD - 4x 120mm Case Fan - Noctua NH-D15 (-> 2x 140mm Fan) - PCIe USB Extension Card, lots of USB Devices connected at once (Mouse, Keyboard, AMP-DAC, Graphics-Tablet, Oculus Rift + 3 Sensors, often PS4 Controller,..) Now I think my current 500W Power Supply is a bit on the lower end in terms of amount of Wattage - so I was thinking of going with a 650W one (leaving me the option to upgrade to Zen2 and possibly a new GPU - maybe a 1080 or 1080Ti - in the future).. Is this reasonable, or what would you recommend to me? I was thinking of the be quiet! STRAIGHT POWER11 CM 650 W, as it is fully modular, I could get it quite cheap (~85€) and it's in the Tier 1 bracket (I believe so? It doesn't list it with the CM , but it has the same article number as listed on the be quiet! site). What do you think, any recommendations? Is my line of thought fine, or did I miss something? Cheers! edit: budget up to ~130€ I'd say, unless there are some way better ones for a bit more or something like that.
