  1. Ok I am trying this now, it doesn't happen very often so we will have to wait and see if this resolves it . Thanks
  2. Hey I have recently bought a MSI r9 270x 2GB OC edition and have had a problem with it randomly crashing? The screen just turns green or white with vertical lines and I have to reboot. I think it is the GPU as the rest of my system seems unaffected ( eg music will carry on playing). This happens seemingly randomly even when doing light tasks. 3. its because im running 1 lot of power from the dvd drive and then to that , the hdd is on a different harness
  4. So this my first built designed for gaming and media playing (xbmc). I needed something as an upgrade from a dell 15R laptop that could output 5.1 surround sound and obviously game better. Its built in a corsair 300r windowed case with nzxt sleeved red led lights in The motherboard is a msi z87-g45 gaming with an intel i5 4670k (stck cooler ) For ram i got an 8gb duel channel kingston hyperx beast ram running at 2400mhz stock For storage I have a samsung evo 120gb ssd and a seagate 320gb hdd (that i had spare but planning on getting a wd green 1tb) For power i have a corsair rm550w which is quiet as hell As for the peripherals I have a Benq Gl2450 which has a 2ms response time For a keyboard i have the corsair k30 And for a mouse the corsair m65 fps And the speakers are dell altec lansing ada995 (and thats a spare amp sitting on top nad 3020i) And to fill the pace on the left an Macintosh Cassic II that i found outside someones house. In a few months I will pick up a msi r9 270x but unsure weather to get a 2gb version or 4gb any thoughts ?
