Guess my day of watching YT are essentially over

Which ad blocker are you using with edge? Why switch from Brave? Probably not a coincidence that YouTube picked up you were using an adblocker after you switched.

In response to Wendy's new pricing scheme, YouTube is now charging Wendy's different ad rates depending on the time of day. /s I would be fine with video ads on YouTube if they were muted when they played. Ads are far too noisy.
  3. No graphics card? Without a graphics card that system will use around 100w. 450w will be plenty.

Just wait until you can't buy M&Ms because the facial recognition scanner isn't working. Everybody gotta collect that data.

No issues for me with Firefox + UBlock origin so far. I don't watch that much YouTube these days. I spend more time going through my recommendations clicking "do not recommend channel" on channels that I've already done that for but that YouTube keeps recommending for some unknown reason. What browser are you using?
  7. Save files are often stored separately from the game files. The folder they're stored in will depend on the game but many games will use the my documents folder or the appdata folder. There's also cloud backups for save files like what Steam does for games.
  8. Moved to Cooling. The option you're looking for is called hysteresis. Try FanControl. It has support for Hysteresis and you can set it to only apply for temps going down like you want.
  9. Thread cleaned. I've removed all arguments regarding Russia and the war in Ukraine. A complaint has been made about a sponsor and a response from LMG has been given regarding the sponsorship. We won't have any further discussion on the war in Ukraine. No political content, regardless of your views.
  10. There is a share button on the top right corner of forum posts. This gives you a direct link to the content as well as external sharing on other social media. The timestamp on any post (including status updates) is also a direct link to that content.
  11. @GoStormPlays & @Hinjima take it to Moderators on the forum thread. It's not relevant here. Recalls are done for safety issues, where the defect poses a risk to human life. Several people died from faulty Takata airbags before they recalled them. They don't recall a car because the engine blows a head gasket after 200,000 miles and you think you should have got at least 300,000 miles out of it. If the fault with your monitor posed a serious risk to safety such as a risk of fire then I'm sure they would issue a safety recall. I'm sorry, but I have to agree with everyone else here. The warranty period expired. MSI no longer has any obligation to provide a replacement, repair, or refund if it breaks after the warranty expires. The only exception to that might be if you're in a country that has very good consumer protections that state a mandatory warranty period that is higher than what the manufacturer offers, though the 2 years MSI offers probably already meets or exceeds any mandatory warranty period for displays.
  12. Your slow internet upload speed is going to be a problem for streaming. 4Mbps upload speed will mean you will have to limit your video bitrate to below that in order to keep the connection stable. For a 1080p video stream Twitch recommends 6mbps. Youtube recommends 12Mpbs for H264 encoding and 10Mbps for H265 & AV1 encoding. https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/broadcasting-guidelines?language=en_US https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2853702?hl=en If you tried streaming at those bitrates your internet just simply wouldn't be able to keep up. You could still stream, but you would have to lower the video bitrate to probably 3mbps or below to avoid connection issues. To be able to stream at that bitrate without heavy artifacts and issues you should drop your resolution and framerate down to 720p 30fps (or lower). If you play games that are fast paced or games that are very detailed that are difficult to encode at low bitrates without compression artifacts the stream is going to look bad at those bitrates basically no matter what you do.

    Henry-etta I don't get it either.
  14. Moved to PC gaming. Posting a YouTube video you liked does not qualify as tech news. In this case the news topic would have been that Ubisoft is shutting down the online services for The Crew. This was news 2 months ago. They covered it in their game news focused channel GameLinked back in December.

If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge Ornstein. It has been a few years since I've played it. I can't remember what the trick to the fight is but I do remember after you kill one the other one gets fully healed and starts the second phase of the fight. So only focus on one of them in the first phase, any damage you do to the other one in the first phase isn't going to count.

How can the gameplay be garbage when the exact same gameplay worked for 12 Assassin's Creed games?
  17. They've featured several smart watches on their ShortCircuit channel in the past. https://www.youtube.com/@ShortCircuit/search?query=watch It doesn't look like they've covered any by Garmin. If they haven't covered something you think would be interesting you could always suggest they cover it. You can make suggestions for ShortCircuit videos here: You can always make a post in the Phones & Tablets section on the forum and ask the community for advice about smart & fitness watches.
  18. That report basically just says "the game crashes while I'm playing"? A third of those reports are for the Nintendo Switch version of the game. That's not what I would consider a "well documented, common bug for RTX systems". Those are just random people on completely different versions of the game going "Hey, my game crashed at some point too!". I do believe you that there is some bug at that point of the game causing you to crash. You will probably have better luck finding a solution if you be more specific about the crash. The quest you are playing, the area of the map you are in, the action that is supposed to be happening that is triggering the crash, etc. Watching your videos both crashes occurred when you reached the top of those stairs. There's probably some trigger that happens when you enter that zone that is causing the crash. I'm not familiar with the game but it could be a loading zone you are entering or a cut scene that is supposed to trigger. Game developers are never going to be able to fix "my game crashes", but they might be able to fix "My game crashes at this specific point in this specific quest in this specific zone when triggering this specific action".
  19. If they're invisible, how do you know you're not wearing them? Try poking yourself in the eye. For science.
  20. You guys better be nice to OP. Once his cheque clears he's going to be able to ban you.
  21. I think it may have a lot to do with the data they're trained on and how often hands are obscured in photos. Fingers can be blocked by other body parts, clothing, objects a person is holding, or even obscured by the hand itself. For example this image (top search result for "photo of model"). The hands are there, and we know they probably have 4 fingers and a thumb on each hand, but how many fingers are really visible? If you had no idea what hands looked like and you were shown this image you would see a hand with a thumb and finger and another hand with a thumb and two fingers. I think AI will get better at this stuff when it's trained on 3D models, rather than photos. It'll give the AI a much better sense of objects and where they belong in the world and how they interact with other objects.
  22. If you haven't already done so change your password from account settings. You should also change your password on any other websites where you may have used the same password.
  23. That power supply has 4x "Molex" (Peripheral) connectors. https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/power-supply-units/tuf-gaming/tuf-gaming-450b/techspec/ Cable Connectors MB 24/20-pin x1 CPU 4+4-pin x1 PCI-E 6+2-pin x2 SATA x5 Periplheral x4 That depends on how much power the fans draw. Fans will typically have their power draw printed on the label on the fan like "0.5A @ 12V". Multiply amps by voltes to get wattage (0.5A x 12V = 6W). I can't remember off the top of my head what the connector is rated for, but I probably wouldn't want to exceed more than 40W per connector. Are your fans using a molex (4pin peripheral) connector? A lot of fans these days are using the 3/4pin motherboard connectors or with a fan hub. Fans using molex connectors powered directly from the power supply will run at full speed all the time.
