Sad to hear that 3 US firefighters died while fighting bush fires in Australia today. The 3 US firefighters were crew on a C-130 Hercules waterbomber which crashed.
Unfortunately they are not the only firefighters to have died while fighting these fires in Australia this season, but it has even more impact when those who lost their lives aren't from Australia who had no obligation to help but are putting their lives on the line to assist us in our time of need.
Thank you to America, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, and all other countries who have provided firefighters and equipment to help Australia.
