Gallium has a melting point of 34C iirc. It would stay solid since coolant temperature is in the 20s assuming your room temperature is 22-25c as well. not really a very good liquid coolant then

    According to @LukaP, very well.

Still, horribly dangerous, expensive, and heavy. If there was a leak, you can kiss your components goodbye even if they aren't energized.

Most problems stem from user error... The thought that a simple OS update could brick TWO computers, updated by the same person, while running perfectly fine on well over 100 million devices kinda says something when you look at it...

This is an exciting year. 2016 is going to be a VR bloodbath. Who will come out on top? Truly none of us can know yet.

For my part, I am not investing in VR until:
    1) A leading headset is more obvious (I'm hoping for the Valve backed one, since I expect it will have the best Steam integration)
    2) The next year give or take determines whether this is all just some bullshit expensive gimmick or not
    3) The headset that works best with Star Citizen becomes more solidified

To this day my LGA775 desktop and this laptop are better than anything my old high school still use. (My mum works there-and they still haven't done any upgrades-so even she has a better computer than those found there). Though that school still uses Celeron M380 laptops with 512MB RAM so yeah......

As an Mechanical Engineering College Student, aside from my desktop, I've used a laptop with an i5-4200m and it's integrated GPU is more than enough for CAD. Is it enough for simulations? No. But then again that's what the desktop is for. I really don't see a real practical use/justification for this. Not to metion the fact that that's the most unprofessional laptop I've ever seen aimed at anyone working in the engineering field. We don't want this ugly shit MSI. This isn't some dank RGB OC SUPER BRIGHT laptop for engineers.

That's great and all, but that doesn't mean the APU will actually utilize that in any way. This whole thing could be a complete letdown just like Bulldozer. The IGP could even be trash.

LukaP reacted to GoodBytes in Microsoft: We don't care about Windows Phone's market share and here's why
What would that give you, beside running a Win32 apps under continuum? Win32 apps aren't touch friendly, and most of them aren't high DPI aware, making them look blurry on your phone. Let alone they need to be able to be resized to the size (aspect ratio) of a phones. They are many Win32 apps that are non scalable, or have a minimum window size, an issue on the phone as everything runs full screen, and its GUI assumes more width than height, while on a phone, it is the contrary. Most of the time people hold their phone in portrait more, so you have more height than width. Basically, they'll be a mess.
For example, if you take Steam, beside the fact that it is not high DPI aware (not 4K ready), and non-touch screen friendly (can't navigate with touch properly without being frustrating), but you can't scale the program to the size of a phone. The program has a minimum window size not compatible. And say, even if Microsoft forced thing, look at the library, basically, you'll see the library left side column, and the content on the right panel won't be visible, as the list of games on the left can't made smaller, or disappear.
Another issue with Win32 apps, is that many of them aren't designed for mobile systems. Meaning they are very power hungry, because they assume desktop. The whole concept for making software for mobile system where you want it to be power efficient, is all new, many developers don't even know about it. Heck, Chrome is super power hungry on a mobile system, just recently Google made some effort to help diminish the problem, as IE and Firefox had much greater battery life, but they are so much they can quickly do (not to mention that they'll need to trade performance).

It's Khronos. You have Intel, AMD, and Nvidia fighting over a standard API for all 3 of them. Now on top of that add Samsung, Apple, Imagination Technologies... Well, this list...

Basically put this many egos together arguing over a unified graphics API. It was never going to happen quickly. Why do you think OpenGL was such a cobbled mess?
