  1. I use the CM Storm Stryker in my own rig. But I also like the phantom 630, define r4, 900d and haf xb
  2. Personally I'd go with the titan if I could afford it, just because there awesome ;) . But an overclocked 670 can perform as good as or even better than a stock 680 though.
  3. Pretty certain for folding it would work just fine in a Gen2 x1 slot. But trying to game off of it in a x1 slot could cause problems due to bandwidth.
  4. GA-Z77X-UP7 OR MSI Z77 MPower OR G1.Sniper 3
  5. Very nice. All though for me changing to the sabre tooth spoils the colour scheme a bit
  6. What I would do is see how far you can over clock it, then if you are still not satisfied with the performance you can either buy a second and run them in sli (if your motherboard supports it), buy a new card or wait for 700 series
  7. It probably will work, I use 2 totally different kits of ram in my rig (different brands, capacities, frequencies and cl) and that is working just fine for me.
  8. it is very likely that IB-E will be supported in current SB-E designed x79 boards but with a BIOS update
  9. Realistically overclocking a laptop just a bad idea, due to heat and the fact that most are designed to have low power consumption rather than high performance to conserve battery life.
  10. If you want a good inexpensive cooler then take a look at the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo The stock coolers are a bit loud under load.
  11. Im my opinion your Power Supply sounds quite under-powered and might not be able to take the strain of overclocking. Also most OEM PC's (Such As Dell HP Etc) don't allow overclocking. So I doubt that you would be able to do any overclocking, even if your power supply was up to the job.
  12. Sounds like linus is trying to get rid of his SB-E stuff before IB-E comes out
  13. Id rather go with an nvidia card cause i need to make my system into a hackintosh evenatally and they dont support the radeon 7000 cards
  14. Hi Im thinking of upgrading to a 660Ti, im also planning to get a third monitor in order to use surround with 3 1080p displays. I'm wondering if it would be beneficial to have a 660Ti with 3GB of VRAM over one with 2GB. The cards im looking at are the EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti FTW+ 3GB w/Backplate, or the MSI 660Ti TF 3GD5/OC. The card im running at the minute is a Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 1GB. Some of the games im planning to play in this config are Max Payne 3, Crysis 2/3, BF3, Skyrim, Dirt Showdown ext. Thanks
