Thanks tmcclelland455, I will be overclocking to 4.8 and then 5ghz and report back with my results at a later time.

I think I'm going to go ahead overclock to 4.8 and see how tempatures are. If stable, I'll go head and take tmcclelland455's advice and push it to 5ghz to see how tempatures are after that. I appreciate your comment, thank you.

I'll be using the Cooler Master Airmaker 8 to cool my over clocked i7-7700k processor. I plan to overclock the cpu to 5Ghz. I'm wondering if anyone here would advise against that? Would this air cooler be able to keep my cpu at stable/healthy tempatures?

I accidentally touched my cpu on the gold side of my cpu... it left a smudged of my figure print. My hands were clean but I guess I still hand a little oil from my fingers. Is this bad? Can I clean it? The finger print is on the side that makes contact with the mobo. Please help P.s. the picture doesn't show the finger print but I just wanted everyone to know what side of the cpu I got dirty.
