  1. 10K Would be nice, but I've got a lot to learn about RAM OC and Zen 2 OC. I'm also hitting a thermal limitation until my new watercooling stuff gets ordered.
  2. Good to know. Thanks for all the info, guys. Was planning on this kit as it sounds like I'll have a better chance of running two of them. https://www.gskill.com/product/165/166/1536656046/F4-3600C17D-32GTZRTrident-Z-RGBDDR4-3600MHz-CL17-19-19-39-1.35V32GB-(2x16GB)
  3. I guess what I'm getting at is that I want to make sure I'll have no issue running a kit at 3600MHz. On the QVL list for the X570 Aorus motherboards, there's no 32GB kits on that list that are good to run 4 sticks at 3600MHz. They can run with just 2 sticks at that speed, but not 4 if I had to bump up to 64GB https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_x570-aorus-xtreme_matisse_190812.pdf
  4. Hey there, For some reason, there doesn't seem to be any 32 GB two stick kits that are verified for 3600MHz on the Ryzen platform. I've found 3200MHz kits, but would like to get 3600MHz kits if at all possible as that seems to be the sweet spot for Ryzen. The reason for needing a 32GB two stick kit is that I'm getting dangerously close to hitting memory limit on some projects and would like to keep the option to add another two modules for 64GB open to me. Thanks in advance!
  5. I forgot about this thread. I'll have to throw some 3950x CB scores up here after work. Running 4.2GHz all core at 1.175v
  6. Boom!! Thank you!! I also found that display 1 & 2 were not level by a single pixel. One would think that Windows would have some better snapping on or at least an option to enable them. Once again, thanks for your help, @TomvanWijnen
  7. I just rearranged my monitors, but seem to have run into a problem that I can't seem to find a solution to yet. I used to have them all horizontal with each other, but moved them so that the 1080p monitors are up above the 4k display. Ever since doing this, I CAN move mouse to all the monitors, but not across one of the borders. I've snipped a pic to show you what I mean. If I shuffle the screens in display properties, I can make it so the only barrier is between 2 & 3. After another shuffle, it can end up back the same as the pic. Any suggestions to get the mouse moving as it should?
  8. Have had that issue in the past, too. MSI H81 board and a G3258 would show as running at 7GHz or so
  9. Just upgraded from 150/150 fiber to 750/750 fiber. Who would have thought my router CPU would be the limit of my bandwidth? https://www.speedtest.net/result/8522314033.png
  10. No reason to upgrade that. Look at optimizing your streaming software setup so that your stream looks good for the audience. Remember: If you stream at 6000 kbps, not everyone will be able to watch because Twitch won't transcode your stream until you qualify. I've found a really good medium is 720p30fps at 3500 kbps. 95% of people can watch that stream, even on mobile. The biggest thing is to have good audio. Please don't use a set of cell phone headphones with a built in mic for your audio. Even if you have a decent gaming headset, spend some time tuning the gains and mic placement to get the sound pleasant. I've left streams more often because of bad audio than poor resolution. I was watching a streamer play for 3500 people this week and he was streaming at 720p30fps 1000 kbps and still was more than watchable. If you're serious about streaming, get out there with what you have and see what it's like. Don't invest in expensive hardware for it until you're sure that you will continue and make it viable.
  11. Depends where you live. Around here, buying a house is far outside the reach of most people. Owning a house costs money, too. I'm more than happy to have someone else take up the expense of property tax, upkeep and repairs on this house while I rent it. The cost of a mortgage would be 3 times what I pay in rent, then I'd have to factor in taxes and upkeep. Not to mention having to have 2-3 years salary from a good paying job saved up for the down payment. The housing market in a lot of places is broken by "investors" and renting is the only option for most people in those places. A few hundred dollars in cables when I move is more than worth it to me so that I have a more convenient and livable experience for the many years I plan to stay here.
