  1. Honestly ASoT has so much electronic music (not always trance) Idk what to do with it all. ASoT 650 was HUGE. Year end Mixes of ASoT are good too (Loved year end mix 2012). Also have you Listened to whats on Universal Religion? Chapters 5 - 7 are amazing.
  2. 1GB of vram is fine for 1080p but you wont be able to max any demanding modern games. You need more vram for higher Textures and Anti Aliasing. Even 2GB of vram can be limiting on demanding games.
  3. As a Fellow 4770k user I dont like going over 1.3v. Is 4.5Ghz the highest 1.29v can get you? I personally run a stable24/7 4.5Ghz at 1.25v. Also remember to try running some games after benchmarks to test stability. Even if it passes all stress tests it can still crash when playing a game.
  4. For 1080p SLI since you wont need more vram. 760 SLI usually beats a 780 Ti in raw performance. Just make sure you have enough power from your PSU.
  5. are you actually experiencing performance drops? It might just not be reading the core speed right.
  6. 660tis SLI should actually beat a single 780 in raw performance. Should do decently in 1440p
  7. all cards that Run DX11 can run 11.2. 11.2 Is only for windows 8.1 though. Also Nvidia has said so themselves that all 400+ series cards will support dx12. They mention it here. http://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2014/03/20/directx-12/
  8. Going by previous generations the 870 should preform around a 780 which is good but not amazing for 1440p. probably wont get 60+ fps on demanding games with max AA. I think you need like SLI 780 Ti to get good frames on crysis 3 max 1440p with 8x AA. If Nvidia lowers power consumption enough on high end maxwell cards, ill probably SLI gtx 860s or 870s and get a 1440p Monitor. Until then ill stick to 1080p gaming lol.
  9. It shows 1:5 because your ram is running at 1333 when it should be at 1600. Your cpu doesnt support 1600 (only 1066/1333) so the ram is down clocked to 1333. Also Sanybridge cpus dont use Front side bus. They use BCLK. Everything is controlled inside the cpu. Dont worry about the Ratios. Besides the down clock everything seems fine. Edit: Sorry to answer your question Yes there is a bottleneck. Your cpu is holding back your ram.
  10. Maybe something that reminds you of what got you into anime in the first place? Idk but I wanna get a Gundam! I already got a Haro on me (the little robots)

    DX12

Yes. nvidia says 400 series cards and up will support dx12
  12. if your thinking of 1440p gaming then SLI 760 wont do since 2GB of vram wouldn't be enough. Even a 780 struggles on max settings at 1440p on some Modern AAA title games but the 3GB ram helps alot. Heres a vid of 780 on 1440p being benchmarked http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gB9-eIPLzM
  13. The maxwell 860m uses a gk107 like the 750 and 750 Ti and the 870m kepler versions uses a gk104 core which is what the 780m, gtx 760 and 770 use. I assume the kepler 870m is a rebrand 780m which should performance around a gtx 760 and the 860m probably performs around a gtx 750.
  14. the 760 SLI will outperform a 780 Ti by a little plus its cheaper. My only concern would be the 2GB vram vs 3GB but at 1080p it shouldn't matter too much. Not True. Its a good alternative when you already have 1 card and want a big boost in performance without spending a whole lot. It depends on the situation.
  15. Enable XMP Profile in bios. That will run your ram at your rates speed and timing. Most motherboards set ram to default 1333/1600.
  16. are you using IETU over bios for overclocking? I would do it in bios. leaving things on auto is bad too. It can really mess with voltages. Also try to make pick one over the other. Messing with both might mess up your settings.
  17. Most big name games are SLI Optimized. Having said that though I would still go with a 780 (Maybe SLI that in the future). I rather have the 3GB of vram for higher textures. Alot of modern games pass the 2GB mark now when maxed.
  18. I would say wait it out a little longer Until DDR4 is out. That way you wont feel like you upgraded too soon. Too much new stuff is getting/got announced for this year.
  19. Honestly with 80$ I would look on ebay for a gtx 460 or 560 Ti.
  20. 150$ for the i5 3470 + Mobo + 4GB of ram isnt bad. You can also try overclocking the gt 640 a little if it runs cool enough. Edit: Vids of someone playing a few games with a gt640 and i5 3470. 1440 x 900 Medium to high settings with some things off. Battlefield 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8POO0VxujQ Assassins Creed 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMvwLVY24O4 Edit 2: forgot to add hes recording with Fraps so that should give you an idea of how your videos will look.
  21. OP you should link the other thread you posted your build on. That way people wont get confused.
  22. 4670k and 4770k are basicly the same cpu. i7 has more cache and 100mhz over the i5. As for Hyper Threading, the way I understood it worked was when running a task and a core isnt being fully utilized it splits the core to run multiple tasks on it. But if a program is running all the cores to the max then Hyper threading doesn't take effect. At least thats how I think it works.Someone correct if i'm wrong.
  23. Unless faster ram is just a few $$$ more then get the faster.
  24. if you play MMOs or games with alot of people in the maps then its better to have a more powerful cpu.
  25. Original 32GB Surface Tablet is 179.00 on ebay as a 1 day deal. Refurbished with 1 year manufacturer warranty. Might be good for those who want a Tab just browse the web and watch videos. Remember this runs Windows 8 rt not the full version of windows. Heres the link http://www.ebay.com/itm/Windows-Surface-Tablet-with-32GB-Memory-10-6-Surface-32GB/171257996045?pt=US_Tablets&hash=item27dfc5a30d enjoy! Edit: Looks like its up to 199$ now.
