  1. On the 4th of April i accidently flooded my computer with water, while replaceing my broken pump. Everything got wet and now i want to take my graphics card appart and replace the conductive pads. Now to my real question: What are the best for a graphics card? The card i have is a EVGA 980 TI Hybrid Copper. Thank you in advance! Nick
  2. So i delidded my CPU again and found that i kind of made a mistake and the Liquid metal got all over the place. I replaced it with new one and sealed it back again with adhesive. and now the temps are somewhat better. it now maxes out at 85°C so i think that one of the sensors is still bad. But at least its not jumping to 100°C straight when i start Google Chrome :D. Thank you for the help @knightslugger It was a good idea to open it again and redo what i have done :D. TechNICKer ---------- ok just tested for 2h straight and now its getting back up to 100°C so yeah i dont really know what the Problem is i just hope its a bad sensor.....
  3. Yeah i mean liquid metal. and i used the delid die mate for everything. Maybe i just have to verify it by myself by delidding it again...
  4. Yep i removed the black sealant from the IHS and the PCB. And i think i got the IHS straight. You know i didnt really save on Thermalpaste. Also i dont really want to reopen it. It was already way to stressful doing it once. Probably interesting aswell: The one core never jumps above 100°C it always perfectly hits 100°C.
  5. Hey Guys, since two days one of my CPU Cores is getting really hot it always jumps to 100°C but all the others stay at a cool 50°C. This Problem occurred after i delidded my CPU. If you are wondering i had to delid my CPU because my CPU (all Cores) always maxed out at around 95°C. The Problem occurs in the most random moments, for example when i open google chrome it instantly jumps to 100°C and back down to 60°C. I think the problem is my mainboard but i don't have another one to test it. Im planning on buying another one because the one i have right now is not the one intended to buy this one :D. I have an I7 6700k and as a mainboard i have the ASUS Z170-K. Hope you guys can help you. TechNICKer
