that's the only thing i can think of when it comes to ryzen, unless you know someone with 2 4gb sticks you could trade with. also make sure your ram is running at the speed and timings.
-
that's your bottleneck. if you put a matched stick in the second slot you'll have 2X the bandwidth for the gpu to send frames to your cpu. that should resolve your usage issues and frame rates. i've seen quite a few comparisons using 1x8gb and 2x4gb sticks of ram. using 2 sticks is almost exactly double the performance.
-
i'd check your motherboard manual to make sure they are in the right slots.
-
running games on 4 threads should be fine at 3.7. are you running a single stick of ram? or 2 stick in dual channel? or 2 sticks in the same channel? you'll lose about half your performance even if you have 2 sticks if they are in the same channel group. Ryzen needs dual channel badly or it chokes.

Anyone had good experience with Vega64 in a multi GPU set up? i've had my 64 for a while and i can pick up a second for just under $550 USD to add to the threadripper system i'm building (still need mobo, cpu and ram but i'm getting those with my next 2 pay checks) I've seen some frontier cards used for sub $500 and am trying to decide between the 2. I currently have 3 x 1080p monitors between 2 ancient mac pros and a 1440p ultrawide with freesync. i'd like to put the 3 1080p monitors on a second card in my main computer and have the option to crossfire for games that support it, when not running da vinci or heavily multi tasking, so i'm leaning towards the second 64. I'm condensing my 3 computer set up to 1 to handle everything. currently a ryzen 5 rig for games and the macs for music and/or video editing. I've got a few weeks to decide on the second card. I've seen very little done with multiple vega cards outside of some show pieces.

Where can i fit 3 Rog Strix 1080TI? Help please
RunsWindowsOnMac replied to dosquatsbro's topic in Graphics Cards
I've got the View 71 as well. just got the strix Vega card too. I believe water-cooling would be your best bet to fit it all 3 in the case. depending on your Mobo you should be able to fit them on water. the view 91 is out there but doesn't really offer extra mounting points, just more storage space.- 6 replies

Yeah but YouTube only allows certain creators to be sponsored. They must have specific guidelines. Tech Deals is sponsor-able on youtube, while iJustine, PewDiePie, Lost Pause, BitWit etc are not sponsor-able. Looks like Mr. Deals is family friendly enough that the algorithm approves of him.

YouTube is doing it like Twitch does it. Per channel and they still take a cut.

there are about 20 drives on newegg between $50-$75 US for 3TB options. if you keep an eye out on daily sales i saw a 4TB one for $75 a few days ago. I've also seen them on facebook marketplace and things like LetGo or those type apps used. Good Luck on your search.

I'm planning my next build. i haven't built a computer in 10 years. I'm looking at running 10 fans total, 9 for rads (3 EKWB SE 420mm), and 1 for rear exhaust. I know I won't have enough headers on the motherboard. any recommended RBG fans to use, and how user friendly are hubs. i was leaning towards the TT Riing+ 140mm. are the included bundle hubs any good? I've got the View 71 case on the way. I'm basically starting over like a noob again. last PC is running DDR2 with Harpertown Xeons. any recommendations would be great.

Hey all. I’m planning a build for the summer with a custom loop. I really like the View 71. I’ve seen several reviews saying it can fit up to 3 x 420mm radiators. I’ve yet to see anyone use more than 2 in a build. Could I fit 3 420mm radiators with fans in this? Is using a third radiator overkill?
