HP Officejet Pro 8710 Not Detecting Cartridge
Braedyn McLaughlin replied to Braedyn McLaughlin's topic in Troubleshooting
I'm not sure. It won't initialize. -
My OfficeJet Pro 8710 Detects all the OEM Cartridges except for Cyan. I've tried cleaning the electric contacts and resetting but nothing works.

I am uncertain if my 1060 Dual 6GB has a custom PCB or if it is reference. If custom, does anyone know where to find a waterblock?

2020 Design Rendering Farm
Braedyn McLaughlin replied to Braedyn McLaughlin's topic in General Discussion
Thank you, but how would the "Manager Slave" system work? We need to be able to remotely have the machines distribute the workload.- 7 replies

Here at my enterprise company, we have a team of about 25 designers, each equipped with their own laptop to design kitchens using 2020 Design. For each of their renders, it takes 30+ minutes and disables them being able to work. We are looking at a potential offsite render farm which would run Quadro GV100s in each machine for maximum efficiency. We do not have interest in using a third party rendering hub and would like to know if anyone reading this has any possible ideas or solutions on how to configure, set up, or build this machine. If there are any software suggestions, please let me know in the comments below.

How? There is no button on the I/O Shield like on STRIX Boards.

I may have accidentally set my bios on a b350 tomahawk to clock my 1600 at 4.2 instead of 3.2. There is no display output but power to my peripherals. What do I do???

Xeon Phi + Ryzen; Does it work?
Braedyn McLaughlin replied to Braedyn McLaughlin's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Yes, I have a 1060 as a graphics card. I’m trying to render scientific workloads such as particle simulation. -
I have a Ryzen 5 1600 with a MSI B350 Tomahawk Board. Since this is an AMD Based setup, would a Xeon Phi 5110P Work?

I have a 1060 ASUS Dual with 6GB of VRAM. It has a custom PCB and I was having trouble finding a compatible waterblock. The only one was for a 1060 STRIX and this is not that variant. Does anyone know where I could get one and the rough cost?

Parents won’t let me buy a laptop.
Braedyn McLaughlin replied to Cupar19's topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
Ask for their reasoning. There may be some deeper intellect behind it and show you that maybe a bluetooth keyboard and your pre-existing iPad Air 2 are plenty suitable for typing notes in class on a word document. -
Can You Run Crossfire on iMac Pro?
Braedyn McLaughlin replied to Braedyn McLaughlin's topic in Graphics Cards
I'm sorry to say that your positioning on GPU mining is wrong for a GTX 1050 Ti can even make around $8 USD per month after electricity costs. RX Vega 64 and 56 crush that with intensely high hashing rates.
