  1. I decided your right so I plan to return the 2 128GB SSD'S & Get this one Crucial CT525MX300SSD4
  2. Last minute check!! Due to lack of availability I bought Intel Core i5-7600K Kaby Lake Quad-Core 3.8 GHz LGA 1151 91W BX80677I57600K Desktop Processor instead of the I5-8400 as originally planned. Any compatibility issues??
  3. Case solved! Thanks Well except for I've never return an item I ordered online. (Newegg). How do I do that? LoL
  4. Thanks ?. I would consider returning both SSD's in favor of spending an extra $33 for this one. 5" Solid State Drive Samsung MZ-75E500B/AM
  5. I'm confused & frustrated. I just purchased all the parts for my new build. The guy who's helping me put it together almost INSISTS on putting the 2 SK hynix - SL308 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drives in a raid. (still learning so forgot if he said 0 or 1) for a boot drive then using my 1TB HDD as main storage for my games, files and pictures. Which would be the extent of my computer usage for this build. No streaming or fancy video editing etc just recreational use. So!!!...… I've been reading up on this and everything I can find says raiding is a bad idea due to the risk of data losses. Is there a BETTER WAY to make use of all 3 drives or should I just return the 2 small SSD (SK hynix - SL308 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive) and go to ONE 250 or 500 gb SSD?? Please try to keep your answer to a kindergarten Level LoL. That way I can understand. Also facts are more helpful than opinions!! Thanks
  6. Well...it's too late now! Parts are on the way so it is what it is
  7. The guy helping me put this all together said. "They all say that it's bs. honestly it all lies in the configuration and the motherboard ram combo on top of that raid stripe.ive been doing this for a long time I'd tell you If it was a waste of time" So I don't know WHAT to believe. Here's what PC world says. https://www.pcworld.com/article/2365767/feed-your-greed-for-speed-by-installing-ssds-in-raid-0.html
  8. I'm doing a raid on the 2ssd & using a 1Tb mechanical drive as storage.
