    So I have a gaming rig (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bgqLJ8) but I'm looking for something a little more portable and functional. I'm planning on hooking whatever I get up to an external 1070 or better. I would buy a dedicated gaming laptop but, I would be using the laptop for school and I value the extra battery life of the ultrabook. Id love to hear any opinions on this idea or recommended alternatives. Also if you're feeling really dedicated, what setups would you recommend for the laptops because I'm iffy on whether or nor the upgrade to 4k on such a small device is worth it in this case.

    So I am trying to plan a new killer gaming pc and i would like opinions on the parts I've selected so far. I'm trying to future proof this build for at least the next 4-5 years. For now i just want a stable 60 fps at 4k max settings. Also any sensible price cuts would also help. Any technical advice or opinions are welcome.
