  1. Alright did some more testing. Ran DDU for a clean reinstall of gpu drivers, then tried unplugging my monitor before plugging in my headset and was able to run it for a couple hours without any crashes yesterday. Today I tried keeping my monitor plugged in to narrow down which of those might have helped, and it crashes after 30 minutes again. Unplugged my monitor after the crash but it seemed to continue crashing every few minutes. MSI Afterburner shows temperatures around 55 C for the GPU and 65 C for the CPU. I don't have a spare power supply to try right now
  2. The mouse is a Razer Viper Mini, and the cables were replaced along with the headset. I haven't used DDU, I'll try that and report my findings.
  3. I've been using a Rift S for a couple years now, paired with a GTX 1060. Last November, I upgraded to an RTX 3060, and since then, my Rift S consistently crashes after anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes of use. To describe the crash, the VR display goes black, I lose audio, and the light on the headset turns red, along with a windows notification from the Oculus app that my "DisplayPort is not connected." I also sometimes get a USB disconnect sound that seems to be my mouse disconnecting. I went through Oculus support and none of their steps solved the issue. I've tried unplugging all USB devices aside from my keyboard, used different display ports on my GPU, used different USB ports, updated/rolled back GPU drivers, even tried a powered PCIe USB hub, still not helping. Eventually I convinced Oculus support to send a replacement headset. Fast forward to today, I receive the replacement, and the problem persists. The only hardware change that's been made since it last worked, was a new GPU and a new mouse. The GPU works great on all other tasks. I included the last log OculusLogGatherer made. 4. Hi, not really sure if this is the right place to post this. Intensive games seem to mess with some of my USB devices. This has happened with PUBG and ARK mainly, but has happened on the main screen of overwatch as well, but only once. At some seemingly random points my headphones will start to be crackly, and it makes every sound go down in pitch, to the point where every sound is out of tune, so music sounds terrible. It affects all of my computer sounds, and the only way to fix it is to unplug, and plug back in my headset. It also shuts off my mouse completely, and i have to replug it as well to fix it. My keyboard seems to be fine. I have a USB hub connected to the USB passthrough on my K70 keyboard, and both of these are connected to that hub. This could be the problem? Thanks in advance. 5. Hi, I've been running with a FX-8120 3.1Ghz 8-core for a long time, and now I have a suspicion that it might be bottle-necking my PC. Is my CPU really worth upgrading, and is there anything else that stands out in my build. Thanks in advance. My current build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TtqfXH
