  1. I ended up setting Backblaze bucket with 100GB limit, I guess I'll eat less now.
  2. I have a home NAS running TrueNAS SCALE, some files are super important for me and I want to back up to remote server. But I require some help with the where and how. First of all, I prefer free service, I just don't have any available funds right now and I really want these files safe(r) Second, I need 100GB, again, for now, if the service is easy to setup and use I will buy more if needed. Third, I prefer to be able to create a tasks on my NAS to sync the files weekly to the remote server. Thanks for the help and happy passover
  3. It's a simple 1080p logitech webcam, I can't recall the model, it's at least two years old. anyway, I've managed to kinda fix it with the following guide https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250466375
  4. Perhaps I should explain, yeh. So, I recorded a video this morning with my webcam and I positioned it in a place I was sure will be great. It was great, but I forgot the morning sun is extremely bright. The important part of the video (me) is fine, but there's a very, very bright spot coming with the window behind me and I have no idea how to reduce it. Now here comes the real problem. I'm not a video guy, I have no idea what I'm doing, I don't know the terms, I don't know the shortcuts or tricks. I wonder if can anyone guide me to the right place? I'm also attaching a screenshot of the problem. Using latest Final Cut Pro X.
  5. Does the 48v sends power to two XLR inputs or only one? I'm planning on upgrading my recording setup with Scarlett 2i2 gen 3 and two sE8 microphones. Thanks!
  6. @Falcon1986 I'm not using the same SSID, it's XXX2.4 and XXX5, the 2.4 is WPA2 Personal with AES, 5 is WPA3 Personal. I'm not sure why it's not connecting to the Asus but does connect to the ISP garbage. I don't have any issues with other devices I tried so far (iPhone, iPad, iWatch, TV, XBOX and some friends android and pc devices) it's driving me insane. @Kilrah the ISP modem is right now also a router because my bot won't connect to the Asus router, I must have it on, so I need advice on how to fix the bot issue or how to restracture the network with both the asus and the isp modem. But I really have to fix this thing.
  7. So it goes like that. I have my ISP modem/router which I used only as a modem, my router (ASUS RT-AX92U) is connected to the first port, to this router I'm connected via CAT5 to my xbox, NAS and I think the TV too, not 100% sure about that one. with WIFI i'm connecting my other devices. Seems normal, right? well, here's the problem. My Xioami Robot Vaccum 2 Pro refuse to connect to my Asus router at 2.4G, I don't really know why, I haven't changed anything when I first activated the router but the network name and password. But it does connect to my ISP modem/router without any issues. The problem with that is that I now have two extra networks at home and I also think it causes issues with my connection to the ISP. 1. Does anyone have similar experiance with Asus and and Xioami robots? Do I miss a setting in Asus interface? 2. Let's say there's no way in hell to make the two love each other, how should I setup my Asus? Two routers are not a good idea for my understand, but, I don't want to use my ISP piece of crap with my NAS. 3. How do you feel? Thank you very much and have a great weekend!
  8. I guess I'll have to go with a "regular" case then wanted to optimize some space I have below the TV.
  9. It's for home and work use + i'm using RAID5 today and I have 4X8, will like to keep it before needing to replace drives.
  10. 1. It must have room for 4 hard drives, prefer with easy access. Edit: 3.5 drivers 2. It must fit my board, Asrock Z370M-ITX/AC 3. It must be in NewEgg or Amazon with shipment to Israel As I said, my max size is XboX Series X size, but I prefer to have it in Qnap TS-451+ size (Which is smaller) I already have a PSU, Antec EarthWatts 650W, so if it can fit it, even better. Don't need room for GPU (it's gonna be my server) Thanks!
  11. I'm pretty sure it's not ZFS. And FreeNAS seems like a big problem know...What about "normal" Linux distro like CentOS? Or hell, even UNRAID.
  12. So I have this QNAP TS-451+ NAS, 4 bays, all with 8TB WD Red drives, configured in RAID5. But, I'm going to use my current PC as a server soon and I want to know how to move the entire raid to a FreeNAS without losing the data itself. I was thinking of taking one of the drives out, copy all the data (my raid is far from being full, and I have a lot of junk I can delete), move the rest of the drives to FreeNAS, copy all the files back to their locations and add the drive to the RAID. But, I'm pretty sure you guys know a better way to do it, I don't know much about the QNAP system beside it based on Linux and I'de like to go the easiest route possible, I'm sick of computers already. Perhaps it's possible to just move the drives in order to the new server and that's it? P.S. All hail Dennis!
  13. I don't care about the routers CPU usage, I only care about the difference in speeds between the ISP one and the Archer one. I use it for 3 Ethernet + 3 WifI connections at a time. I care about the internal network speed, to the interwebz it's about the same using SpeedTest.
  14. So, my ISP brought me a new modem/router saying it's much better then my current router (Archer C9) and my older modem. And I want to test this claim. I wonder if there's a test suite to benchmark the gear beside running speedtest on both routers (I don't trust it, soz) Thanks, All Hail Dennis!
