  1. I just upgraded from an Asus A88X-Pro board to an Asus B350-F Gaming board. Needed the new socket for the Ryzen 7 1700X I just got. I previously had the OS installed on 2 Samsung EVO SSD's in a Raid 0 array, so I know the drives are good. The previous version of windows on was not recoverable so I formatted the drives and created a new Raid 0 array. However, when installing windows none of my drives are recognized, but they can be seen in BIOS. I have tried to update the latest Asus raid drivers through a USB but when I load them I am told they are not compatible with my computer's hardware, I can still install them but too no avail. I spent 2.5 hours on the phone with Asus support to only be elevated to a higher level but I may not hear from them for a couple of days. Here's what I have done to trouble shoot the problem so far: Update BIOS to latest version SATA settings in BIOS are set to Raid Tried installing with CSM enabled and disabled Tried installing without the raid array (after removing it and setting SATA to AHCI), which recognized the individual drives but windows installer said they are not formatted correctly for use. I do not know of anyway to change their format through BIOS. Has anyone had a similar problem? I have not found much on the web about this specific type of issue. It appears to me that I need to format the drives to a compatible version in order for the update to be compatible. I will try any and all ideas you may have so just throw them out. I hope someone can help!
