Hi, I just build a new rig few days ago. What im facing now is an issue that Q-code always showing 40 on my Asus Strix x399 E-Gaming motherboard. My last rig used to showed Q-code AO on the motherboard and i think that is normal but now im facing the Q-code 40 and sometimes Q-code AA. I do lot of research and many people saying it is normal and so on but I still want to know why it always showed Q-code 40. There must be something
I just wondering on these 2 cpu about their power consumption and heat. What's the difference on these 2 processor and how good they are. Hope i can find answer since I've found so many review with different info.
ohh okay. some says that if ryzen want to get high speed on ram it needs to overclock it, in this case does threadripper involve in the overclock to get higher speed on ram?
kinda lost here hahaha
thank you very much. I think i've got lot of answers right now. If not im quite confused whether to go intel or amd for this rendering stuff because im looking lot of reviews on this both monster and it seems that intel performance quite high
what do you think about my rig planning?

Hi, I want to build a high end rendering machine and I dont mind about the gaming fps, what im focusing is on rendering especially 3dsmax software. Which processor should i buy? either Intel i9-7900x or threadripper 1950x?
