  1. I am thinking to NOT buy a gaming laptop
  2. I wan to play doom, battlefield, GTA 5 and the new games coming out. I live in Australia prices differ from the US, AW 15r3 gtx1070 is on clearance but since I heard about heat and software issues I am skeptical on pulling the trigger.
  3. Can u tell me your thoughts? Should I pull the trigger?
  4. I am about to pull a trigger on AW 15r3 gtx 1070 7700HQ cpu. Price is 2299 AUD with 115 cashback. so 2185 AUD = 1555 USD seems like good deal. I am skeptical if i should get it due to the thermal issues that i heard. Do you thinks its a good laptop? If not what laptop do u recommend? and are 90C plus temps are normal on a gtx 1070 laptop?
  5. So it doesn't damage the battery? that's my worst fear
  6. 240-watt power bricks are used for most gaming laptops that have gtx 1070 such as an Alienware 15r3, what happens I charge a laptop with a gtx 1070 using a 330-watt power brick. Is there anything wrong charging a laptop with a bigger power brick? I heard that using bigger power bricks will prevent charging issues such as power brick (charger) not giving electricity when plugged in during heavy intense gaming. Do you think it is SAFE?
  7. I thought its a new game coming out and Asus is gonna make a deal
  8. get NH D 15 that support up to 64mm ram height WITH using one fan in the middle but with a bigger ram, you have to put your fan ( the one on the front ) to be placed higher.
  9. Man just pay more $500 laptop should LAST longer than a $350 laptop
  10. I was on Amazon seeing GPU prices and I see a new ROG GPU no not the Strix the Cerberus! here is the link https://www.amazon.com/Cerberus-GeForce-Advanced-Graphics-CERBERUS-GTX1070TI-A8G-GAMING/dp/B077XFDLQ1/ref=sr_1_22?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1516238711&sr=1-22&keywords=gtx+1080 yep new GPU that I'm hoping will be in stock and is Cerberus a game because I thought Asus is making an offer to sell the card. Anyway the dimensions are not specified it looks like its gonna take up only 2 expansion slots
