  1. Love me a TKL for home, and full size for the office. One size does not fit all, let alone me Thanks for the giveaway!
  2. You will need deck of cards, spray bottle, isopropyl, and sand paper from the dollar store wire brush with a 1/4" hex shank, 2-3 cans of rustolium, and some rim cleaner from the hardware store. a drill take the wheels off the car, and clean them with the wheel cleaner. Then go nuts on them with the drill and wire brush, and follow up with the sandpaper if needed. once all the rust and gunk is off, hit them with the wheel cleaner again. then with the isopropyl in a spray bottle, give em a good soaking with that and dry em off. now wedge the playing cards between the edge of the rim and tire all the way around, overlapping each one slightly. this will prevent overspray onto the tires. you can add some newspaper too if your still worried. spray down the wheels with thin coats of paint. thin coats and lots of them. progress should look slooooow. each coat should only tint the rims color. once their dry, ur done. They probably wont be perfect, but they will look a LOT better than they do now. ps. plastidip is used when you want to be able to go back to the original look. In your case, i don't think you ever wanna see the original look so plastidip is pointless. It's great from brand new rims, useless for old ugly ones.
  3. Thank you sir. That site is awesome!
  4. Sorry if this has been answered already, but i couldn't find what i'm looking for via searching. Looking for a cheap case that can hold and maybe slightly cool a 5 drive NAS. I have my NAS built in a cheap generic case right now and the drives are slightly warm for my liking. Looking at spending as little as possible for a case that looks as simple and plain as possible with a place to mount a front fan or 2. Smaller is better, board is a mATX, but small is not necessarily a requirement. TIA peeps!
  5. Favorite part of the Z2 is the micro-sd card slot and that it can be inserted without removing the battery. Favorite thing about dbrand is the name of the company (de-brand) lol. LOVE it.
  6. My favorite feature is the dual windows thing. Being able to have a messaging app and a game or YouTube video open at the same time sounds amazing!
  7. Fav feature is the MicroSD card slot. Way underrated, but something so simple should always be included (looking at you google)
  8. Still havn't seen any CPU specific tests for mantle. I know there are problems right now because of lack of support and beta drivers, but the ultimate reason for mantle is eliminating the CPU bottleneck, especially those present in AMD CPU/APU's. That's what i'm waiting for more than anything else. For example; how does mantle perform when using a R9 290X on a Low end AMD APU High end AMD APU Low end Intel CPU High end Intel CPU If games perform relatively the same on an AMD APU as an intel, we should see intel CPU prices drop, and maybe more K series sku's as well. Who wouldn't LOVE an unlocked I3 eh
  9. Linus gives the finger, 1 min later, get's ddos'd to hell. whoever this ahole is, looks like he aint gonna stop. What a hater. smh IMHO, WAN show should be done over a VPN every time. BuyVM is a good cheap service. decent security, and only 15 bucks a year for a 15GB 128mb ram 500gb bandwidth VPS. Good enough for a debian install and OpenVPN.
  10. I like AMD, i own an fx-6300, and a8 3870k, and an x4 640. That being said, even for budget gaming, you're better off with an ivy bridge based celeron G1620 (or a pentium G2030 for a couple bucks more) and a 7750. Same coin as an A10, way more frames. Moving to a large budget, it's simply more of the same. There's really no reason to buy an AMD from a performance to price perspective when gaming. none. unfortunate but true
  11. Strange comparison. A HUGE screen running a very customize-able, tweak-able and typically techie platform vs a tiny screen on a idiot-proof WYSIWYG platform with better security. I think a LG G2 or nexus 5 would be a closer comparison. Anyways, IMO, get the a nex5 and install AOKP. (MUCH better experience than CM10 IMO). Or if you want to keep warranty for a while, just use nova or apex launcher, or if you like the stock AOSP one, by all means. That being said, if you have smaller hands, don't care for those extra techie features and abilities, and want some extra security with the fingerprint unlock, iphone 5s is ur phone. Not everyone needs to be 1337....
  12. Seriously? I never use more than what you have there, and my temps are always awesome. And when i remote the sink, i always see a nice big circle covering everything but the corners of the CPU. What CPU and cooler are you using? PS. your cpu doesn't look very clean to begin with. Might try cleaning it better with some isopropyl or acetone.
  13. Yesterday, my fathers cousin brought me his Toshiba notebook. Motherboard fried. Told him to call Toshiba, give them your model number, and ask them how much for a new board. Told him if it's not too much, get it, and i'd install it for him. Goes home and calls me. "what kind of motherboard should i ask them for?" To which i reply "the one for your notebook"
  14. lol @ non-business people commenting on someone elses business. Let me break this down simple. For example You pay your employee's a wage and you have 3-4 of them. Plus renting the office, internet, utilities, phone, etc gonna cost at LEAST 10k/month Plus, you want to pay yourself a decent wage as well. So call it 15k. That's your monthly expense. Not to mention 50-100k worth of equipment which may or may not be financed. So paying back loans + updating gear will cost another 1k/month So, revenue wise, Linus Media Group has to pull in at around 20k/month to keep it profitable. Best case scenario, with nobody using adblock, and considering linustechtips average daily view count, the channel can bring in $24k/month. Thats a best case. With half the people using adblock, that number turns to half. 12k. Meaning that 8k of revenue have to come from sponsorships and other revenue streams. But he can't say that because he gets free CPU's... ?
