  1. Not sure but i sit at 300fps easily in VALORANT on low settings. I'm running at a really low res. I just want to know if it would at all be possible to get 360fps in VALORANT consistently. When i am in a custom game i tend to get over 600fps, but in actual matches with other players its only 300.
  2. Hey guys, I play VALORANT competitively and i average around 300fps on all low settings at 1024x768 resolution. My CPU is at 5ghz, and my RAM is at 3200mhz. I feel like I should be getting well over 300fps with those settings and my specs. Is there something I am doing wrong?
  3. hi, I have an MSI Mortar Z390M with an i9 9900K. I am using 2x 8GB sticks of Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 3200mhz sticks, but for some reason, the PC only boots with one stick in. I tried taking them out and putting in a different stick of RAM, but same thing, it only works with one. What could the problem be? Thanks!
  4. Hi, I am looking to upgrade my RAM as I am purchasing a new Z390 motherboard and an i7 9700kf. My current RAM is the G.Skill Trident Z RGB at 2400mhz 16gb. I'm wondering what would be the best option for maximum FPS while gaming. I play competitive games like Overwatch and I play on all low settings for max frames. What would be the best RAM to get? I was looking at Dominator Platinum RGB at 3200mhz because it overclocks well. Is 3200mhz as good as it gets for gaming, or will 4000, 4800 etc be even better? Thanks!
  5. I was wondering if it would be possible to mod my b250 motherboard by gigabyte to run an intel i7 8700 or 9700. I have seen tutorials on how to and I am pretty confident, but those are for the Z series boards. I dont actually care for overclocking as I just game, which is why I havent bought a Z series board. Reason for this is I just do not want to buy another motherboard, just a waste of money when I could spend more time and mod my CPU to work and save money. I have a 650W power supply so I have more than enough power for it to run, so no issue there.
  6. This doesn't really answer my question, i dont care about price, I just want to know if its worth the troubles of delidding to get good temps and stuff...
  7. I'm purchasing an i7 9700K along with a motherboard soon. I am hoping to be able to overclock the CPU (not extreme). I have a water cooling loop already, and I am pretty prepared to be able to overclock as soon as I can. Anyways, I was wondering if delidding the CPU makes a difference on the temps (I know it does, but is it a big difference and worth me ordering the tool I need to delid)? And if it makes a good difference on temps then will it make overclocking a lot better?
  8. So I am getting an i7 9700K, and am looking for a motherboard to go with it. I am wondering if it matters which motherboard I get. I am looking to overclock, but I want to know if it matter which specific model I get. For example, if there are two motherboards that are both of the Z390 chipset, but one is significantly higher priced than the other, will it make a difference in overclocking performance, and performance in general? Thanks
  9. I found a Good deal on the k65 rapidfire, im going to get the Corsair PBT white caps to go with it too. Thanks for the response
  10. Both seem awesome, and please don't respond with 'DuCkY Is BeTtEr qUaLiTy', i just want to know if Logitech G PRo or K65 rapidfire is better. I like MX Speeds, but the G Pro switches also have a good actuation at just 1.5mm, but Speeds are at 1.2mm. I hope speeds don't cause me to make typos.
  11. I'm either going to upgrade my CPU & Motherboard, possibly to an i7 8700K or i7 9700K and a motherboard that's compatible, OR upgrade my graphics card. I am looking for the best possible upgrade for FPS. I play Fortnite and Overwatch very competitively. I also make and edit videos using Sony Vegas. What would benefit me the most? A new CPU with a new motherboard, or new graphics card?
  12. OHHHH so I CAN control it via the G Skill software but NOT with the Asus Aura software?
  13. Really? I have no RGB header and stuff. Just double checking but are you 100% sure
