  1. holy balls I'm still grasping the raw specs of that thing, it's the most powerful desktop pc I've ever seen
  2. Again, thanks for the reply but you're not actually helping much, heheh. I know there's outsourcing, but some are simply better than others and what I was looking for when I was posting were real experiences or well based suggestions.
  3. Can't raise the budget, but appreciate the reply :-) Also there's a lot of difference between panels/brands and as I've stated, I just want to know if there's something better than the rest.
  4. Ohhhh, forgot to say, IPS/PLS/VA would be ideal, unless it's a VERY good TN panel.
  5. So as the title says, I'm buying a monitor as a gift and it needs to be around $150-160 US dlls. TOPS. What's the best 24"/27" 1080p monitor I could get with that? No special needs, just wish a good overwall quality on screen and build, not required for gaming so 60-75Hz it's just fine. No particular preference on brands or anything, just want to give the best gift I can for that price and wanted to do some asking aside from my own research EDIT: Forgot to mention IPS/PLS/VA would be ideal, unless it's a VERY good TN panel.
  6. Although the CPU is better on the Predator, Thunderbolt 3 is a pretty good thing going for the Dell. I'm going to check the two of them, thanks a lot!
  7. TL;DR Help me find a good modeling/rendering/CAD laptop UNDER $1000. Hey guys! I'm looking for the best option I could buy. I'm an architect in search of the best laptop I could get to do rendering/modeling in CAD/Modeling software (3DS, Maya, Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp + V-Ray and even Unreal Engine) for a budget of STRICTLY UNDER $1000. To give you better context, I already have a pretty capable PC I built myself at home but I need to be able to do all this things (atleast to a degree) on the move, so I don't need to do everything at home. All of your opinions will be considered and will definitely help me find the option that suits me the best as I haven't been following the laptop market ever since I built my PC. Thanks in advance.
  8. Holy crap, thanks a lot for the insider info! You guys are amazing, can't wait to get the case!
  9. With the release of the Louqe Ghost S1 in a few weeks, I've been saving up and planning my first ITX build, here's the part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/QXxJJV The only thing I'm not sure about is the cooler, I went with the Cryorig C7 just because of the sheer specs against the Noctua L9, but I don't really know if there's a better option than those two. I'm planning to delid the 8700k and apply either a better thermal compound or liquid metal for better temps and the capability of a small overclock. What do you guys suggest?
