Trying it with windows, it just times ut. Angry IP Scanner just doesnt show anything

Yes I am new to freenas. No I am not familiar. Is it just looking at all the IPs on my network using something like ANGRYIPSCANNER and choosing one that isn't listed by any of the devices?

Yep, it only shows em0. I have not tried setting it up, as I have not much clues as to what to do.

I have plugged it into the blue ethernet port. Typing in ifconfig em0 is the only option that shows anything. I have tried all three ports and nothing has changed It has a 3 port built in NIC

So it says no carrier. How would I add an IP and where would I get it

So I was making a FreeNas Server out of a 2tb hard drive and an old Dell cs24-sc. It has two l5420s, 24gb of RAM (I got three of these for free so I just put all 6 sticks inside). The issue is it doesn't recognize my network. Do I need to not have it plugged into a switch?

299 for the SC, 329 for the PNY, and 339 for the Zotac

So the EVGA SC? That only has one fan. Will that seriously affect anything? Edit: And are there waterblocks just in case?

So I finally have the cash for a 1060, but which one should I pick? The 3 main competitors are the Zotac AMP! Extreme, the EVGA SC 1060 6gb (One fan model) or the PNY XLR8 card. They are all 6gb, but which will be the best for 1080p and VR? Thanks!

So I got a system with some Noctua cooler that I wanted to put on my system, but I'm not sure whether any of them are the same. Anyone have a clue about this?

The problem is that I tried the front panel headers, and plugged them in, it worked,then now it doesn't. On my old system that I'm trying to get to post, all the posts are correct. It was as soon as I put the hdd in it and the old GPU that it broke

I tried it in the case, and it worked,

So my brother asked me to swap his case, and I did. Then it worked, but I put the plugs in for front panels, and it didn't. I tried the GPU and RAM in another system, and it worked. I brought out another system, and tested it with the PSU and it worked. I then put my GPU in, worked, then put in Old HDD, as well as old GPU, and then my system now bootloops, with the CPU fan of even spinning up. Please help!
