Sometimes it'd be nice to know why Youtube keeps recommending all sorts of random shit and have some actual control over those.

I can understand it trying to recommend me videos from India, because my first name is also in use over there and I can understand it trying to recommend me all sorts of Russian videos, because apparently it thinks Finns speak Russian, but...why does it e.g. keep pushing me cooking videos and channels? Is it because of my gender? I've never, not once, expressed any interest in the topic. And why does it just refuse to learn? I keep tapping "I don't like this video" and "Don't recommend this channel to me" and it just fucking won't learn.

It'd be nice to at least be able to choose what languages I want recommendations in, so I can filter out all the stupid Russian and Hindi bullshit out...
