I have a pc with a I5 660 and a gtx 660 ti. I have $400 and it runs pretty slow in most games. What should i upgrade?

I am building a new PC for $400, I already have a gpu (a gtx 660 ti), a hard drive, and ddr3 memory. I was thinking of getting a Ryzen 1600 but it doesn't support ddr3 (nothing really does) and I don't know what to get could someone help me figure out any other good but cheap parts? edit: I also have a pair of displays I will use
