Hi! I recently ordered a Japanese Playstation console for the purpose of legally playing region specific games. But Japan uses 100v power while the US uses 120v. Can I safely use the PS1 without damaging it or causing a fire? Or do I need to upscale the power to 120v with some kind of adapter?

I've been looking around at various NAS systems such as those made by WD and Seagate. The storage sizes are great, but from reviews it appears that most of them have poor file transfer rates. Does anyone know of a NAS system that I could buy and/or make myself that can store 2TB+, preferably up-gradable later, that will transfer files fast enough to run 1080p video without delay, or play some games over the network? Looking to spend no more than $200 up front.
