  1. Hello again! So I kinda jerry-rigged everything. I took off the JVC earphone cover and surprisingly there was 3 little holes in there. Coincidentally, they are the same size as the screws from the metal bracket housing part. So I took off the housing part, and used some masking tape and got everything re-wired. I watched a tutorial on YouTube and they said I need to separate the "red" and "ground" wires. So I used the lighter method. The wires were still kind of black, but surprisingly everything worked. The bottom part is a bit bent when it's over your ear, but it lets some air in actually (feels good in my ear lol). Feels a bit awkward to wear but i'm getting used to it
  2. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826262102 I bought these back in April of 2013. I've been using them ever since, and my lord they have been amazing. Unfortunately, my dog chewed the right ear cable and I tried to put the cable back together, but with no luck. They fit my huge ass head perfectly, and the audio quality has been great. I want to re-buy them on Amazon, but they are a bit above my budget. Only got around $20 and $9 left on my Amazon card. Do you think I should just save up? Or do you think there is something similar < $30? I love the big ear muffs, and not an "audio professional" by any means, but these do sound way better than the cheap ones we have around the house. Very noticeable
  3. For example, Elixir and Nim-lang come to mind. Was curious if there are some others (i'm sure there are, but can't think of any atm, and googling is not helping) Thanks in advance!
  4. Thank you for the write up. Are there any screenshots of this "fluent design"? Is it kinda like the Windows 7 Aero effect? I really miss that from Windows 7.
  5. No disrespect towards other cancer patients, but it's mostly because he's really popular. And influences a lot of people. That's why it's in the news, it's just that simple really
  6. Yeah. There was a bunch of hair and whatnot underneath. However, it still is very hard to actuate. It did the same thing a couple years ago on my other one.
  7. https://www.amazon.com/Kensington-Slim-Wired-Keyboard-K72357USA/dp/B00426HI8U/ I've been buying this since 2011. However, the last two i've purchased, after about 2 years, the dumb space key becomes very hard to press to actuate the key. I tried mechanical keyboards in the past, but my wrists feel much more comfortable with the slim profile ones. I'm curious if you can help me find a (K72357USA) clone, with scissor switches. That doesn't have the space key issue. Thank you in advance
  8. Microsoft is just giving me more reasons to use W7. Meltdown patch already, massive bugs in W10, etc. I'm in heaven
  9. AFAIK can't you already find the R5 1600 for 190-200$ on buildapcsales if u check it frequently, etc. Price dips don't seem like a price dip to me
  10. How did Intel rush CFL to the market when the availability of the 8400 and other chips were extremely scarce after release. (still is). That will be hard to prove in court
  11. Re-install Windows 7. No seriously, just got the patch for W7 and it installed/working perfectly lol
  12. I want to see the new Ryzen 2s first!
