  1. Thank you everyone for the replies! So I guess that upgrading my CPU might be a better choice because it bottlenecks my system. Thank you for telling me that the i9 9900k is not worth it just for gaming, but I'm still wondering which CPU I should get. I was choosing the i9 9900k because I didn't wanted to upgrade for a long time but if there's a CPU that would last me a while and outperform the next-gen consoles (PS5/ Xbox Series X) please let me know, how good is the r5 3600? I always used Intel and NVIDIA so I don't know much about AMD's performance. And I'm also thinking that my GPU (RTX 2060 non super) will be weak and mostly VRAM limited (6GB) in future games. I also know that the advantage that the consoles have is that the games are coded to the metal, in other words they are mostly very optimized for the respective console. For example, I was playing Need for Speed Heat on PC and even at the lowest settings I couldn't achieve a consistent 60fps, so I used the NVIDIA Control Panel and chose "Adaptive Half Refresh Rate V-Sync" and I got a consistent 30fps but after playing it on PC at those frames and play testing it on a PS4 Pro, I noticed that the PC had way more input lag compared to the console, so that's another point that I'm confused about...
  2. Hi everyone! It's been a while... So I have a question and I was thinking if I should stick with my PC or get an Xbox One X. my current build is: - i7 2600 (Non "K") - RTX 2060 (Not Super) - 16GB of DDR3 Ram @1333MHz (They are 1600MHz but the CPU limits it to 1333MHz) - HX750i PSU from Corsair If I would upgrade I was thinking of going big and get: - i9 9900k - Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Elite - 16GB of DDR4@2400 And keep using my RTX 2060 and my PSU (Corsair HX750i) but it would take me a very long time to make that build. Which choice would you guys or girls make if you were me? Also would it make sense to switch from PC to a console? Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you in advance.
  3. Thank You to everyone for the replies! I will get the 3770k then as it seems like a very good deal.
  4. Hi again everyone! I recently found an i7 3770k for around 150USD and I was wondering if it would be worth getting this CPU instead of waiting for a Coffee Lake overhaul. If I change my system to Coffee Lake I will have to change the Motherboard, RAM, CPU and it's going to be costly compared to simply getting the 3770k. But has the 3770k aged good? or for 150 USD is it not worth it? Thank You in advance!
  5. I just got a GTX 1050Ti (ELSA).
How rare are ELSA GPU's outside of Japan?

      What?? What company is that?

It's a company based in Japan, ELSA Japan (エルザ ジャパン)
They usually make NVIDIA QUADRO cards but I was honestly surprised to find a GTX series card from this Company.

  6. Okay, thank you very much! I will only replace the GPU then. Should I make a different topic about which GPU will be better for this particular PC?
  7. I see, I will only upgrade the GPU for now then. I really need to replace the GPU because the GTX 750 (with only 1GB) doesn't have a display port and when I connect it to the monitor (Dell P2415Q) it only supports 30Hz with HDMI and everything is very sluggish. Another question is, will the RAM (8GB DDR3@1333) cause any problems?
  8. Also, if I keep my system the way it is now (CPU, MOBO, RAM) while only upgrading the GPU, then wait to upgrade the Motherboard and a Coffee Lake CPU, would that be a better idea?

  10. I was thinking of waiting for Coffee Lake because the prices seems reasonable now, I had an i7 7700K on my build before but I no longer have that build... So I'm using my backup PC...
  11. Thank You for commenting! So, I'm better off with the i5 3300 then...? How about the RAM situation? Since the Motherboard only supports two sticks I have 8GB (4x2) and I wanted to change it to 16GB (8x2)of DDR3 but it's quite expensive...
  12. Hi everyone! I'm currently thinking if it's worth upgrading an i5 3300 to a Pentium G4560. The reason is because it's actually cheaper for me to get a 1151 Motherboard and the G4560 than to upgrade the DDR3 RAM on the system... The current setup of this Build is an i5 3300 with 8GB of DDR3 RAM 1333 (Motherboard only supports 2 sticks of RAM) with a GTX 750 that I want to replace to either a GTX 1050 Ti or a GTX 1060 (6GB). What I'm also wondering is how does the old i5 3300 compare to the newer G4560 in terms of performance? Correct me if I'm wrong but the G4560 has 2 cores with 4 threads clocked at 3.50GHz while the i5 3300 has 4 cores clocked at 3.00GHz ~ 3.20GHz. Does the G4560 being newer get some advantages?
