  1. Hi, I have got a blown fuse in my power cord of the laptop, and the fuse is rated 3A BS1362, can I just replace another one with the same dimensions and amperage without worry about the other stuff like (glass or ceramic, slow blow fuse or fast acting fuse)?
  2. Then may I know what would you think is suitable for stability test on laptop ?
  3. But why do it freeze when I press stop to cease the operation of prime 95 , I thought it should freeze during the torture test and not when I press the stop button. So far because of the high temp build up ( >95 degree celcius ) everytime at the instant I press on the stop button, it freeze... Anyone have an explanation for it ?
  4. Havent try thermal paste and (between 30 to 50 if undervolt for 160mV)
  5. Ok, so I recently got a Thinkpad T460p ( i7-6700hq) and i decided to undervolt it. When I undervolt for 150mV and do the stress test using prime 95, the cpu temp. skyrocket to more than 95 °c in less than 1 minutes so I thought the undervolting is not enough so i try 160mV ( >95 °c) and the same things happen and I quickly stop prime 95 but then the computer froze, later I tried undervolt 155mv ( obviosly it would fry my cpu more than 95° in a few minutes too) 2 times and I also press on the stop button but in these 2 cases the computer doesnt froze. After that I tried to disable turbo boost and 1 hour stress test at 160mV (155mV should be fine too) undervolting is fine (max temp 80) but when i tried 170mV ( without turbo boost too) bsod happen again. What should i do? Actually if I I disable turbo boost and run at stock voltage , the laptop will already skyrocket to more than 95 °c in a few minutes. If I undervolt it between 155-165( without turbo too) it would stay below 80 degree celcius ) I would like to go for the non-software method but I hope that there is anyone who cant help to analyse and tackle my issue before I do the thermal repaste...
  6. For example, it is stated samsung SSD 850 EVO 500 GB for disk drive on your computer, but could i know what the exact foam factor (m.2 or 2.5 inch) from device manager too?
  7. Is there any good software that can tell the specific model name (not just the spec like 8GB ram or 512 GB ssd !! ) of a laptop hardware for example ssd, ram etc. Because it is kinda troublesome to open up the laptop sometimes...
  8. I might choose to use throttlestop as a undervolting alternative rather than using the build in XTU
  9. Because i think that's a good solution to extend my laptop battery life
  10. Hi, anyone have experience undervolting thinkpad T460p, is there a huge temperature reduction? My T460p is equipped with i7-6700HQ and NVIDIA GeForce 960MX. Is there any other way to reduce temp of this pc other than undervolt?
