  1. 1070Ti mini is the way to go. More CUDA cores and higher clocks. Buy it while it still lasts.
  2. I have a single core Celeron and Pentium 4 lying around. My old lover. It has served me well since 2005.
  3. Yes the 1070Ti is better, but I don't see "Ti" in your post so I thought...
  4. It won't futureproof my friend. This thing is so old. GTX 660 barely beat up the 750Ti now. 4GB of RAM is not enough.
  5. 1070 mini tend to have lower clocks and worse temperature. Go with the Zotac 1070 Amp, if your case support it
  6. Nah I don't think buying used overclockable CPU is a good bet though. Better buy a brand new boxed one.
  7. Yeah, you can upgrade it to an i7-4770K or if budget is tight, i5-4690K, and better upgrade your 1050Ti to a 580 or 1060. btw, cooler temperature or appearance?
  8. So if I add in an M.2 SSD, my 1080 won't run in SLI because the M.2 slot use PCIe?
  9. Hey guys, I noticed that my core i7-8700K only offered 16 PCIe lanes, and I have 2 GTX 1080 around. I really want to put those cards in SLI, but I know that they use x16 PCIe slot on my Z370 SLI Plus mobo. Are there any problems when I put 2 cards in? Will they work?
  10. Whoa, 1080Ti is really expensive right now, Ok? It's hovering around $850 now, so if this is a must, then you gotta trim some of the other parts. CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1800X (8 cores, like you required, superb value for productivity, and also very decent in gaming) GPU: ASUS GTX 1080Ti STRIX (Little OC is great) RAM: 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 Mobo: Well, any B350 to be cheap, and an X370 mobo for more. PSU: Any 750W PSU with an 80+ certificate.
  11. Since this is the newest CPUs from Intel, it's really unlikely to be bottleneck. Lots of people still pair the older 7600K to a 1080ti and don't get bottleneck. I think we still need to wait for the next gen GPU though, see how fast Volta or Navi performs.
  12. Can I get your full build pls
  13. CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K or if available, Core i9-7900X RAM: 16/32GB GSkill TridentZ RGB GPU: ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1080/1080Ti Mobo: Any Z370 mobo with RGB lightings... 750W PSU. Any RGB case. Price change everyday remember.
  14. Is there anything to be replaced/fixed?
  15. Before I say anything, let me just say that Vietnamese Pc component price is more expensive than in US or Canada. For example, for $600-650, you can probably get a system with a GTX 1060 and a core i5 (price change everytime). While in Vietnam, for the same amount of money, you can only get a GTX 1050Ti and a core i3 (or better depending on price/sales). So I want to ask you guys if this build has good value. Thanks! http://www.anphatpc.com.vn/xem-may-tinh-da-tao?parts=,24123-1024,18512-1234,11238-1047,22851-1155,21518-1051,23920-1050,20684-1292,23790-1025,20684-1292, P/s: This website is in Vietnamese but you can probably understand. And exchange the price in the website from VND to USD.
  16. Hyper 212 Evo, or if you want to save a buck, use the stock cooler.
  17. It's more than enough for the 7600k, as it's basically a cheaper version of the Hyper 212 Evo.
  18. Nah, an adapter is expensive as hell and is not reasonable as a desktop GPU. Until someone makes a cheap adapter such as a PCIe riser, buy a desktop GPU
  19. I don't think there is an adapter for mobile GPUs though. If you are on tight budget, a GTX1050ti is enough and would kill your 750 for sure,
  20. A 500W PSU should be enough, but with 80+ efficiency
  21. If you are going to game then the 8600K is much better in value, and give it a nice AiO you can overclock it to 4.8 GHz
  22. Yeah absolutely. Low profile cards are usually just a little bit underclock compare to normal cards, but they are way smaller and can fit in small cases.
