do you not understand that overclocking raises the cpu temp? just stop overclocking and watch how the thermal problem gets magically solved.

there is diffrence between overclocking and undervolting

i undervolt my cpu which help it temp to reach max at 72 dec

so i need to try gpu undervolting i dont know how to do that

stop overcloking the cpu , problem solved.

why overclock the cpu to only underclock the gpu? you're essentially creating a problem that doesn't exist in the stock configuration.

I undervolt my cpu not gpu mens i am giving less voltage means less heat generation ?

    well... don't

the irony of overcloking a cpu that shares a heatsink with the gpu to only UNDERCLOCK the gpu to prevent it from overheating isn't lost here or what?

I will tey changing thermal paste too

Hyper threaded Pentiums like the G4560 and G4600 instead.

Try fit in an SSD if possible

I would pick another PSU because cheap ones usually suck. With a not-so stable power grid like those in India, better get an expensive one that can protect your hardware.

    I'd get a ryzen 3 1200 instead of the i3 7100

Or wait for the coffe lake i3s

    Ryzene gaming score 70% desktop 69% workstation 43 %

    Vs

    i3 has gaming 66% desktop 74 workstation 39%

Thanks it's better ryzene is better same price

The reason you're having difficulties is because laptops are not MEANT to be upgraded, safe for maybe the RAM on some models, but still. The GPU is literally soldered onto the board. I had exactly the same problem as you just a few weeks ago, and my only suggestion is to do what I did and sell the Laptop on ebay (I backed up all my files on my Server, but you can just use another laptop or an external USB HDD) and then use the money you get from that plus some extra (seeing that you're trying to add a GPU to your laptop and buy an expensive dock for it, I'd say you have enough) to buy a full PC. Use the money you were going to spend on the GPU and dock to buy a GPU and Monitor and the money you get from selling your laptop to buy the rest of the system.

i cant do the upgrade i am thinking ?
