Nah 750W is way enough for that Setup

If you plan on gaming at 1440p then I highly recommend just the 290. You can possibly add a second if you're not on a tight budget.
 
As you can see, the 290x is not worth it.
 

 

 
I'd only recommend the 780 if you have plans on getting a g-sync monitor sometime in the near future; ie, the rog swift from asus.

To take down that many servers in one night at the same time I can say with 100% certainty it was not a DDoS but rather a Layer 7 DoS likely exploiting IPv6, people just throw around the word DDoS because they have no clue how things actually work and it's a popular word, the only people who DDoS anymore are the want-to-be hackers in Anonymous who just use LOIC which is the singe most effective way to get the FBI to bust down your door at 6am.

No I'm just kidding. Best skin IMO is CM11. I would also say the One M8 design but a bit thicker. Phones these days are getting so thin they are getting LESS ergonomic IMO, and I have pretty small hands.

Hmm not sure of any brick and mortar stores off the top of my head that have an M7 (really hard to find M8 for that price).

Just Buy an X-star DP2710LED or the Qnix variety and Overclock it to 96Hz or even 120Hz, you get IPS 1440p with a high refresh rate

Sounds interesting, I hope that Windows 9 is a much better product UI wise than Windows 8. Although 8 isn't bad IMO it's UI is kind of annoying to use on a desktop.
This still doesn't explain why they fired Barnacles and the others in the testing division though ;(

Microsoft got big, because you had this small company, competing with giants (like IBM). Microsoft was super agile, and fast to adapt to the market needs, while IBM and other large companies at the time were slow, as they were too big. Microsoft mass lay offs is probably to allow the company to be more agile, and stop being late on new things. All the changes Steve Ballmer did before leaving and Satya is continuing, is all about how to make Microsoft a company that work as a team, as a massive force, and be able to adapt quickly, and provide a better experience to users. A needed move, if not... they'll be like Blackberry, or worst disappear.
It doesn't mean it will work, but it should.
