ThatOneNoob's Achievements

  1. People bought 290s for mining litecoins due to their high hash rates, but it's not very effective anymore so many people are selling them.
  2. TBH anything from Gigabyte, ASUS, MSI, AsRock, EVGA etc. is pretty reliable. I've noticed that most first time builders tend to go with an ASUS motherboard, not sure if it's because of reliability, VRM design, or just more consumer friendly features. Aesthetics seems to be one of the biggest things these days too. It really depends on your case (sorry for the bad pun). Just make sure you get 1 that is z97 and SLI/Crossfire certified incase you upgrade.
  3. I say go for Dual 290s, they can be found for like 450 with good aftermarket coolers and you can get them used for like 250 (people selling them for coin mining)
  4. Or pay 15 bucks a month for a rented "botnet" of like 2 servers and think they're cool with their 500 mbps attack on some kid on Skype.
  5. http://store.galaxytechus.com/GALAXY-GeForce-GTX-750-Ti-GC-Slim-2-GB-GDDR5-PCI-Express-30-DVIHDMIVGA-Graphics-CardbrbrBONUS-Low-profile-brackets-now-included-free_p_90.html
  6. Sorry, I specifically meant the team, not the exact project. Shoulda been more clear. Either way, I believe Dinnerbone has enough respect for a project he helped start to not make any horrific changes.
  7. Highly doubt it, but it's possible. Like I said earlier: http://www.spigotmc.org/ could easily take the spot of the spot of bukkit if they make a couple changes.
  8. Well, technically it was supported, in fact owned by Mojang for several years.
  9. Any one of those 4 will be fine for medium TBH, I'm still running a 660 on 1440p waiting on the 800 series so I can buy a 780 for really cheap. I can run most games medium-high on a card that is like 40 percent slower than the weakest performer out of the 290, 280x and 770. That being said, you could probably get away with High and Ultra on some older titles with a 290, which can be found for really cheap.
  10. I like the front facing but low profile speakers of the Z2, and I like how thin skins are for dbrand.
  11. Keys was best hipster world, and made fun of Apple Best spoof world, and made fun of Apple
  12. Logan used to or still uses DXtory in combination with OBS. DXtory files are pretty big also. If you want uncompressed go DXtory or FRAPS, or use OBS for compressed.
  13. This Let's be real, a 4 millisecond difference in response time doesn't make a visible difference, especially when you account for other factors such as input lagg, and IPS monitors look sooo much better. I would personally go with this but hey, not my $150 http://www.amazon.com/Dell-293M3-IPS-LED-23-Inch-LED-lit-Monitor/dp/B009H0XQRS/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1406508060&sr=1-3&keywords=ips+monitor
  14. Hmm not sure of any brick and mortar stores off the top of my head that have an M7 (really hard to find M8 for that price). It is on the U.S. Amazon for 429.99. http://www.amazon.com/HTC-One-M7-32GB-Unlocked/dp/B00CMVLH66
