  1. I haven't been able to reinstall the drivers as my keyboard doesn't work. Im gonna try and use my friends keyboard to see if I can update the drivers, if not, I'll try a fresh install of Windows. If I reinstall windows, will the set the bios back to its default setting too? I'll get back to here, once I get this going.
  2. I ran it on my surface pro 4 with no luck. I'm gonna try running my friends keyboard with ps/2 adapter to see if that helps. If it doesn't, what other options do I have? I can't really control my pc even if I were to download the drivers onto a flash drive, I'd have no way to execute it. If I can get a hold of an external disc drive, would installing the mobos CD help?
  3. Hello, So I just built a new pc after many years. I will list the specs below, but essentially I built a new rig from the ground up, except that I used my old hard drives from my previous system. On the old HDD, I updated my windows 7 to windows 10 with a fresh install, wiping everything before I popped it into my new build. The old CPU was running on an intel 2500k (if it matters). Once I built the new rig, I again booted up the pc and did another fresh install of windows 10, wiping everything. Now the issue, neither my mech keyboard, plugged in via usb works nor does my mouse. The keyboard, when I first plugged it in, without even booting up the system had its caps lock key and screen lock key, lighting up which was bizarre as when my pc was off on my old system it would never light up. At first, the keyboard was working perfectly fine, but the mouse wasn't. The mouse would move about the screen, but I couldn't click on anything. I tried rebooting the computer, but nothing changed. Also, at this point I realized that when my computer would "fall asleep" the mouse nor keyboard couldn't wake it up. So I rebooted and went into the bios, I cant remember exactly what I clicked, but it was something like the keyboard could "unlock or wake up the computer" with any button and the mouse could "wake it up" by moving. I then tried rebooting it and the keyboard was working, but still not the mouse. I then hooked up the internet, realizing that drivers may need to update. So I restarted the pc once again, and after this, neither mouse nor the keyboard work. Is it possible that I "fried" the keyboard somehow? I tried plugging my keyboard into my surface pro 4, but it doesn't work and the mouse just moves around, but can't click anything (after windows 10 updated the drivers). Sorry for the long post, thought it would be best to write up the whole scenario. I don't have a disc drive, so I can't install a new mobo bios unfortunately.
