  1. I tinkered too much with the laptop, used some shady tools, try overclocking, uninstalled many apps etc. I have some weird behavior lately, and I feel like the laptop isn't that response like it used to be, even though It's a strong laptop, pretty new as well. I was thinking about reinstalling the OS, but I don't want to reinstall all the apps and files, and most certainly not taking all the problems to the new installation as well. Should I even do that? If so, what is the best practice for reinstalling in that situation? Thanks
  2. I have this menu: It's HUGE, and annoying, and I don't need 80% of those options. In my laptop, I can't even reach Properties without scrolling. Any solution to this? Thanks
  3. The goal is to have one "app" rather than 10. Would it achieve that?
  4. Don't have any games. Thanks! So I can uninstall all of these and install the all-in-one? I don't really mind the storage, rather than the organization.
  5. I'm no longer have Visual Studio, but I do use Clion and sometime VScode for C++ programming. What are those C++ packages? Can I delete it?
  6. Why is CLion (small project), 10 tabs on Firefox and a few small apps taking 15GB of memory?
  7. Hey, I use a nice LG GRAM 16 laptop that supposed to be good for basic programming. Lately I fell like my laptop isn't smooth enough, and I now saw this in the task manager: This is the main preview - which shows 91% of memory occupied: This is the "Users" preview, I'm an only user: This is the Performance preview - shows I have 16GB: Where is all the memory and why is Clion (small project), 10 tabs on Firefox and a few small apps taking 15GB of memory? Can I optimize this in some why? Thanks to the kind helpers.
  8. I'm pretty sure that if the phone is using 5ghz and tge laptop don't support it, it won't be able to connect at all. Also, the computer is modern while the phone is ancient, so there are better chances that the phone Hotspot supports 2.4ghz only while the laptop supports both channels.
  9. Hey, As the title says, my girlfriend got a new laptop (HP 245 G8), and apparently she can't connect to her old *** Galaxy S8 phone. To be exact, the connection is successful, but no data is transferred, so she can't actually use it. This problem don't exist with other devices (her old laptop still connects), and other phones hotspot do work with the new laptop. Any suggestions? Please help me to help her
  10. First, this is are the new network card and router: Network card: https://a.co/d/0cGnssw Router: https://www.tp-link.com/en/home-networking/dsl-modem-router/archer-vr400/v2 Now, the top speed I got on my PC with the new bundle was 70/5 MB upload/download. If I do a new speed test as we speak (with the 2.4Ghz channel), I get 50/5 on my phone but 5/5 on my PC, and I can't connect to the 5Ghz on both devices. What the hell is wrong?
  11. Well, I'm guessing I don't really need more then 32GB but I don't really have the patience to sell the other sticks so I might just leave it in a drawer. I don't want to try the other 16GB if it has no benefits.
  12. I have this on my PC: Corsair-Vengeance-3000MHz and I'm ordering this: Corsair-Vengeance-3200MHz-RGB Can I use them all in my 4 slots Motherboard or I should not because it will slow my system? Sorry for the newbie question. My system BTW: I7-7700K MSI 3060 Asus Prime Z270-A
  13. Thanks for the heads up, I think I'll use the phone charger exclusively (after some tests to see it's not soo slow), but I guess I should replace the wire anyway, this is the current wire which look exactly like the sketch you sent: Except the model (IEC C7) is there anything I should specify while shopping? like voltage or similar stuff? Thanks again!
  14. Thank you guys so much! Hopefully last question, let's say the phone's charger is delivering 45w to the laptop, what's the laptop power output (to the laptop)? (sorry for my English)
