USB unplug and plug sound appears constantly.
Elderpycake replied to Elderpycake's topic in Troubleshooting
Hey! thank you!! It was a normal usb cable, haha didn't think that would cause this but it did, thank you so much!! -
Hi! sorry I thought it would be best if I moved my other post in the troubleshoot area, I'll copy and paste what it said. I have a big problem with my pc, whenever I use my pc the USB unplug and plug sound appears constantly, (with this I mean the sound the pc makes when you plug and unplug something haha) and I thought it was some kind of damaged device, but I've disconnected almost every usb cable I have on my pc and the problem doesn't seem to be fixed. It's kind of annoying because the sound just appears almost all of the time. I've looked up in device manager and windows says it's an unknown device that's causing this, and this makes it even more difficult to solve because I don't know which one it is. I've tried uninstalling the device driver, unplugging almost all of my usb ports and using troubleshooter to fix this, but it just doesn't work. I'll write down the device properties if this helps, the text is in spanish, but I'll use google translate. By the way, any help would be really appreciated! The USB device \ VID_0000 & PID_0002 \ 6 & 3af0f9ce & 0 & 6 was configured. Driver Name: usb.inf Class GUID: {36fc9e60-c465-11cf-8056-444553540000} Controller Date: 06/21/2006 Driver Version: 10.0.18362.1 Driver Provider: Microsoft Driver section: BADDEVICE.Dev.NT Controller Rating: 0xFF0000 Corresponding device ID: USB \ DEVICE_DESCRIPTOR_FAILURE Top drivers: usb.inf: USB \ DEVICE_DESCRIPTOR_FAILURE: 00FF2000 Updated device: false Main device: USB \ ROOT_HUB30 \ 5 & 4087d53 & 0 & 0

USB unplugging and plugging sound appears constantly

Hey! I forgot to mention that I also did this, and the antivirus says that the pc is safe. I've also downloaded malwarebytes to see if it solves anything, but no... -

Hi everyone, yes I know that this thread is quite old but I'm so sick of this problem, so I'm still getting BSOD's and I replaced the hardware that I thought was faulty (such as HDD, Power Supply AND I even RMA'd my card) to see if this solves anything but it didn't, as I already stated, these BSOD's happen mainly when I'm gaming, that's why I replaced my GPU but seems like the GPU it's not even the problem, if you have any suggestions please write it down, thank you.

Yes, it was in the same system, but these crashes have always happened since I bought this pc, not as usual, but still, maybe it's some damaged hardware but idk what could it be.

Update: haven't seen a BSOD error since I last updated you guys, but games keep crashing, no BSOD though, but still games freeze and audio keeps going and then a crash notice pops out, so I manually have to close it.

oh btw, just played a game and it crashed to desktop, thought it was meaningless so I tried to open it again but I couldn't, my pc literally couldn't do anything, I even tried to open google chrome and nothing appeared, just a blank page, tried to search something in windows and nothing loaded, so I manually had to restart my pc. At this point I don't know what's wrong with my pc lol

Yes, but I think the problem was malware related, because I thought the issue could be caused by malware so I downloaded malware bytes and I had a flawless experience while gaming yesterday, no BSOD's, no in-game crashes, etc.. I'm still testing if this is it, but still I appreciate the help will update you soon!
