    In that price range you have: Lenovo Ideapad or Flex, Acer Spin, Asus Zenbook, Dell Inspiron. And with a bigger budget (up to 200$) HP Envy, Microsoft Surface Book, or the Lenovo Yoga with good build quality, etc.

    If you want something that will last you a couple of years i suggest the Lenovo Thinkpad class. They have superior build quality.

Lenovo Ideapad Legion Y520 - Intel i7-7700HQ, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, 8GB DDR4, 128GB SSD For 1000$ - 1200$ you can buy one of these. Unless you play AAA games you should not have problems.

    Nobody is mentioning about HP Omen?, Gigabyte P55W v7, Asus ROG GL502VM (2017), Gigabyte Aero 15, Gigabyte Sabre Pro 15, Clevo P950HR, P650HS, All of them come with i7-7700HQ, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 and 1070 (Clevo), 16GB DDR4, etc.

    Other models in a reasonable budget are: Asus ROG GL552VW with i7-6700, GTX 960M, 8 GB DDR4, an HDD+SSD in some models. Acer Nitro 5 with i5-7300HQ, GTX 1050, 8 GB DDR4. Clevo N850HK1 with i7-7700HQ, GTX 1050Ti, 8 GB DDR4, small SSD.

    Acer Predator Helios 300 - comes with an LED IPS Matte display for good viewing angles even outside with good image quality.The display is from LG if im not mistaken and covers 86% of the sRGB color space and 56% of the AdobeRGB color space.not suitable for graphic designers. ASUS ROG GL502VM - comes with an LED IPS Matte display for good viewing angles same as the Helios.they say it comes with 100% sRGB but after reading some reviews color gamut is around 55% and 85% of the AdobeRGB, sRGB standards. Asus ROG GL503 - didn't seen much reviews about the laptop but it's from stryx class so it will be FHD.
