  1. I found this which doesn't seem like a bad option. https://www.amazon.com/PG248Q-G-SYNC-Esports-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B01M4II4M4/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1539555795&sr=1-1&keywords=PG248Q&dpID=517CvUUINlL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch#
  2. Basically I want to buy a new panel because I have some asus 1080p monitor and since im upgrading pc parts I really want a better monitor to go along. I have a MSI Geforce GTX 1060 6GB My question is should I get a monitor with G-SYNC or stay away from that and just go with something cheap but reliable?
  3. Basically i'm planning on upgrading my pc soon. Reason being that it's getting constant frame drops in a lot of games and its hard running most if not all games on high/ultra settings. With that being said you should be able to conclude that I want a system to perform flawlessly on most games at 1080p. Not only that but I would also like to get into content creation like recording videos / streaming. My current rig: CPU: AMD FX-8350 CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X62 GPU: GTX 1060 6GB RAM: 2x4 8GB DDR3 MB: MSI 970 Gaming Storage: 1TB WD Blue PSU: Corsair RM650X Case: NZXT H500i My plan was too get a Ryzen 7 1700x, 16GB's of memory, a new motherboard obviously, and a few ssds and a nvme drive. What im asking you the community is should I stick with my current plan or should I get something else?
  4. Hey fellas. So I am looking for a new monitor since Christmas is right around the corner. I was wondering what is the best G-Sync 1440P IPS Panel? Mind helping me with a few panels fellas?
  5. So overall go with the 1700 with a x370 board correct? I'm not missing out on anything if I go with the 1700 rather then the intel right?
  6. If any of you are wondering this is my current rig. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/T44tZ8
  7. So now it's just a showdown between the MSI x370 gaming pro carbon and the ASUS ROG Strix X370-F!
  8. Well I build my original system in 2014. Which had everything but the GPU I mentioned in the post above. I've so far over the years upgraded the Case, PSU, Case, and I went from the stock AMD cooler to a NZXT Kraken x62. I really need to upgrade my CPU and Ram.
  9. @RadiatingLight What's the difference between the two? The chipset?
  10. @SquintyG33Rs The X370 Gaming Pro Carbon looks like a excellent choice for the money.
  11. @SquintyG33Rs I see. I have a MSI board myself for AM3 and i've had no issues at all with it. Also was looking at ASUS boards and the ROG STRIX B350-F Gaming board looks like a good option for the money. I'll take a look at the MSI boards myself right now.
  12. @tp95112 @SquintyG33Rs Also i've heard that you can't use certain types of ram for the 1700..
  13. @SquintyG33Rs It just seems like ASUS likes to overprice everything D: I was looking at MSI boards how about those?
