  1. sorry looked at MSRP not amazon, you're very right
  2. that's too far out of my price range
  3. I heard that the Hyperx Cloud's microphone were very buzzy, that's the only reason i'm skeptical
  4. Hello! So, I've been without a headset for some time now as my (already once RMA'd) Vibrating Gaming Headset from Rosewill died out on me. It's time for a new headset! I have some things I'd like in a headset, and I was wondering if anybody knew of a one that would fit this criteria: Circumaural Won't make my ears hot! 7.1, 5.1, even 7.1 virtual (if it's good?) surround sound A solid microphone Priced between $100-$200 Thank you very much
  5. Hello Linus. I found your channel a while ago, I remember you were introducing Slick in one of the first few videos I watched. Now, I pretty much watch every single video you put out. Including TechQuickie, SuperFun, and even still your NCIX ones.
  6. Interesting to note, I too received quite the dud when it comes to overclocking my GTX 780 Windforce OC (yes 780 not Ti) I purchased this card back in June and although its base performance is superb in itself I am thinking about sending in for a return from Gigabyte as the card has a 3 year warranty, as there is some coil whine as well.
  7. Final update: I solved this by deleting a couple of things from the Registry and on reboot the problem was fixed. microsoft has a nice guide for it. all of that work for nothing essentially
  8. update 2: i've been trying to flash my bios back to the version I know that worked.. but every utility that asus makes is basically rejecting me because the bios version is older than my current... no sh**. Can anybody tell me a workaround please?
  9. Update: after watching a movie last night and leaving my computer on all night... plugged my mouse and headset in and they immediately worked fine (winblows.. im tellin' you they really know what they're doing) But. I still have 4 devices listed under my CD/DVD section in Device Manager that won't seem to work... again, weird because I only have two of such devices. I can identify the two of them but one is labeled as Elby Clonedrive (which i don't have on my computer...?) and just CD-Rom Drive. The other two (Asus DRW-24B1ST is mine, and I think the NABCLW NG9QJGPI3G is my other one as well)
  10. I have done what you suggested.. I don't see why updating my BIOS would ruin my drivers for certain USB devices and not others? It makes no sense to me.. Granted I haven't even tried flashing back, but what if that doesn't even fix it?
  11. Hey guys so lets start with the basics: Asus Sabertooth Z87 Mobo G. Skill 2133Mhz RAM GTX 780 GPU i7-4770k CPU Corsair 750TX PSU H100i CPU cooler Rosewill Thor v2 case Samsung 840 Pro SSD 256gb Seagate 2TB HDD Anyways, I've had this machine since June. Second build, I love it. I saw that asus has their own tool for easily updating bios. So i installed it, and udated to the latest bios they provide. Cool, no problem. Except when I come back in my Razer Naga mouse and my Rosewill 5.1 vibrating headset are "installing drivers".. and failed to do so. So now I'm using a different USB mouse (which works how? but my naga wont? not sure why.. its older.. still USB) to get on here and ask people what I should do because the mouse and headset show up in the BIOS as being recognized as being plugged in.. My mouse even works for logging into winblows! (naga) I'm not really sure what im supposed to do here so if anybody could point me in the right direction that'd be great.. Oh, in device manager all of a sudden there are 4 devices that are being recognized as "CD/DVD drives" but are not working properly according to winblows. I'd reckon 2/4 are my real Blu ray dual layer and DVD dual layer burners and then the other two are my headset and mouse for some reason? Why
  12. I will post some pics soon
