  1. I have following motherboard: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-MAXIMUS-XI-HERO/ which is Z390 I think. Plus I have the latest available BIOS installed already.
  2. Thanks for a tip. Also, I made a mistake, my motherboard is Z390 instead of Z270. Does it change anything?
  3. I bought my current mo-bo few weeks ago, yesterday I only upgraded my RAM. I can't change the motherboard atm Is something wrong with my current mo-bo, though?
  4. Hey everyone :) Yesterday I bought G.Skill Trident RAM with RGB, DDR4, 16 GB, 4400MHz, CL18. The problem is my PC is crashing after I want to apply XMP I or II. Even manually I only managed to do 4100MHz 1.55V 18/19/39.I updated my BIOS, tried everything and I do not have any more ideas what to do. My pc set up:Asus Rog Maximus XI Hero Z270Intel Core i7-8700kPower Supply: Seasonic 850W Any ideas or clues would be much appreciated. Thanks for any help in this matter!
  5. Thank you! Will do it tomorrow and see if something changes
  6. Hello everyone! My friend has an issue with PUBG while streaming the game via OBS. It all started after upgrading her PC, current specs are: CPU: Intel Core i7-8700k GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB RAM 3200mhz MOBO: Gigabyte Z370P D3 HDD: Seagate 1TB 3,5 SSD: Samsung 120 GB PSU: Thermaltake 700W While launching the game alone, it's running perfectly (90-120 frames per second). However, when she starts streaming (via Streamlabs OBS), fps drop to around 40 and even to 30 at the start of the match. Windows have been reinstalled and OBS too, none of this helped. We also checked OBS settings, these are exactly as mine and I haven't got any performance issues (video quality is set to 720p60, she uses NVENC encoder). It is worth noting, that the problem occurs only in PUBG, e.g. fortnite runs okay. I've got some friends who have similar PC to her and during the stream they have around 80-120 fps at all times. I suspect hardware problem, but 3DMARK score was as it should be. Do you have any tips how to get rid of the issue? Any kind of help will be much appreciated. Thank you very much and have a nice weekend!
  7. That's interesting. I've never heard about such thing. Could you please share me some links with more info? I would appreciate it very much!
  8. Hello everyone! I am thinking about buying some pc parts and starting mining some crypto-currencies. I know this is risky business at requires a lot of work with. Although, I came to a conclusion this might be a good place to invest my money. Even though I've read so many articles about the topic I am still struggling which GPU's should I choose. I am thinking about few options atm: GTX1070, GTX1080Ti, Vega (which is not available anywhere tbh), and RX580. Could you please tell me which cards would be the best for me? I have about $50.000 to spend (including all the other parts: PSU's, MOBO's, CPU's, SSD's, etc.). Btw. I am sorry for any English grammar mistakes, it is not my first language Thank you very much for your opinion! Have a good day
  9. I will try it as soon as I'm back home in few hours. Thank you very, very much!
  10. @WereCatf thanks for your reply! So I changed it to bicubic and I think it didn't help at all, though. On YouTube my stream still lags too much, it hurts my eyes Despite small increase in FPS (I have 150-180 now in the game) my stream looks like it is 15-20 fps...
  11. Dear friends, I am beginner streamer on YouTube and I've been streaming only PUBG for 4 weeks now but y-day I decided to try CS:GO. While streaming PUBG the game is smooth and I didn't experience any lag or stuttering issues but playing CS:GO is very difficult because of FPS drops. I believe it isn't hardware-related problem as my PC is as follows: - MSI Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon - Core i7-8700K @ 4.7 GHz - MSI GTX1070 8GB QuickSilver - 16 GB DDR4 @ 3200 CL 15.0 - PSU Enermax Platimax 750W The screen I am using is BENQ XL2411T and I run it at 144 Hz. Normally when I was playing cs:go without streaming I had like 300-400 fps all the time. I have everything set to 'low' in game except shadows. When I turn on the stream FPS are between 80-140, which makes the game look awful. I've got also second screen so I can see actual gameplay on YouTube and lags are very visible, my viewers also noticed that. To be more specific, I use OBS Studio for streaming purposes. I stream in 720p@60fps at 9000 kb/s bitrate while having 250/25 Mb/s Internet so I believe the problem occurs because of wrong settings in OBS Studio (if it's not network- or hardware-related). The details in OBS Studio are attached below in .jpeg files. I hope you can help me with the issue. Ideally I would love to hear settings pattern from CS:GO streamers so I can apply them into my OBS Studio but tbh any kind of help would be highely appreciated! Than you in advance. Have a great weekend.
  12. Hi, all! I recently bought a 500 GB SSD from second-hand and there are two partitions on it right now (103+361 GB). I just formatted them to wipe out all the data. Also, I am about to merge them. One thing draws my attention, though. There is an additional 500 MB partition on it. I think it could be 'System reserved partition' or something. Should I do something about it or leave it as it is? I don't know if it matters, but I am gonna install Win10 on the SSD as a part of my whole new PC. Thanks for your help! Cheers
  13. @Max_Settings thanks for your reply but in the end, I think I will pass on an expensive mic for now. I realized that it's too much for a beginner streamer like me. Nevertheless, can you recommend any cheap mic ($20-40) so I can pair it with my current headphones, please? Or maybe there are some decent headphones with good quality mic out there? I can spend up to $100 on them. Although, I think exterior microphone would always be better than built-in? What do you think? Thanks for your help as always
  14. Hi, guys! I am beginner streamer and I would like to have a proper microphone so my audience would hear me well and clearly. Currently, I am using Steelseries Siberia V2 built-in mic and it's just poor quality. I think I would go with a condenser microphone as I live alone in my room and there is not much ambient sound, but I have no idea which to choose? Do I need any kind of preamplifier or mixer? I've noticed top streamers have got one but I am not sure it will help an amateur like me Also, I am planning to mount the mic on a stand. Should I go with an antivibration stand or would it be an overkill? I don't have any specific amount of money for that, but I don't want to spend too much; I can always upgrade after a while Let's say $100 is all I have, but anything cheaper than that would be nice Oh, and I've already got a pop filter and dedicated sound card, which is ASUS Xonar DX 7.1. Any kind of feedback would be much appreciated! Thanks & have an amazing weekend!
