  1. I will probably change a motherboard since this mother board doesn't support 2933MHz OC but only 3200. My final goal is 2933MHz and get cheaper ram
  2. Yeah, so expensive. any ram suggestions?
  3. Will it run full speed with quad channel configuration?
  4. Hi! I know that ryzen has some ram issues, just wanna some advice. My planning build includes: 1. Ryzen 1700 2. Asus ROG STRIX X370-F GAMING motherboards 3. G.skill Flare X 32GB (4x8GB) 3200MHz CL14 14-14-14-34 I checked both ram and motherboard, but still don't know neither if its compatible nor if the ram can run full speed at 3200 in this quad channel configuration. Is there better solution for 32GB(due to work issues) ram at 3200MHz and high timing? Thanks! btw, has anyone use ADATA Ram, they said they tested 4X8GB at 3200 run on Ryzen on some motherboard
  5. I was going to haha.. but it's too expensive so I step back to ryzen7
  6. Yeah.. I want threadriper.. but too expensive
  7. Thanks! Definitely gonna get 1700. The reason I consider frontier edition is that firstly I'll probably upgrade to threadriper platform, and I need higher GPU memory for texturing work in 3D modelling.
  8. Thanks! a question, I know that Ryzen can manage 3200 Ram, since I need 64 gb, does those 4X16gb ram straps run full speed on dual channel?
  9. Not sure about this one.. I saw some bench mark and Vega is higher in some 3D bench, and I probably need large GPU memory to do texture work.
  10. Thanks ? for the info! btw 1700 or 1700X?
  11. Hi! I mainly use this build as a workstation (video postproduction, photoshop large image processing, 3D Alias modelling, Blender rendering, Cinema 4D Rendering, maybe Maya in the future and a little gaming like GTAV, Forza, Need for Speed) My budget is around £2,800 British pound ($CAD 4,700) Here are the lists of the components I choose for this build, any suggestions will be appreciated!! 1. AMD Ryzen 7 1800X 95wTDP 2. Cooler Master MasterLiquid 120mm cpu Liquid Cooler 3. MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon (I prefer the 3.1 Gen2 USB-C) 4. Corsair CMK64GX4M4A2666C16 Vengeance LPX 64 GB (4 x 16 GB) DDR4 2666 MHz C16 XMP 2.0 High Performance Desktop Memory Kit 5. AMD vega frontier edition Graphics Card air cool version (300wTDP) 6. Samsung 500GB EVO NVMe SSD 7. Seagate BarraCuda 2TB 3.5' Hard Drive 8.TP-LINK Archer T8E AC1750 Dual Band Wireless PCI Express Adapter 9. EVGA 850 GQ, 80+ Gold 850w, Semi modular power supply 10. Corsair Air 540 ATX Case And I've got a question Since Ryzen only comes with 24 PCIE lanes, does the upper configurations fit? (x16 graphics card, x4 NVMe, 1 SATA, 1 Wifi Card) very confused on this.... In addition, I am going to run windows 10, and using 4k 27 inch monitor(already own). Probably will consider OC and a second graphics card in the future. Thanks!
